WMS Common

Removing Empty Payload Elements

In order to reduce the payload size of output interface payloads, you now have the option to remove empty payload elements.

To Be Counted Flag and To Be Counted Timestamp Fields Added to Location Interface

You can now specify in the Location UI whether a Stock Location is to be counted and optionally the Date/Time the Stock Location is to be counted.

Inventory Operations

Support for List of Values (LOVs) for Inventory Attributes

In order to increase the usability and accuracy when performing transactions, you can now define a List of Values for trackable, alphanumeric Inventory Attributes.  Inventory Attributes provide significant flexibility in the material attributes tracked in Oracle Warehouse Management, such as Country of Origin.  For companies with project-driven supply chains, you can configure Inventory Attributes to track projects and/or tasks.

Break Task by Units/Packs/Cases Using a REST API

The Split LPN for Replenishment REST API allows external systems to split a replenishment allocation for units, packs, or cases. For example, splitting a LPN based on the capacity of the warehouse automation including conveyors and robots.

Deallocate an IBLPN Using a REST API

The Deallocate API allows external systems to de-allocate an Inbound LPN that is in Partially Allocated/Allocated status.

Inbound Logistics

Validate User Input for Quality Control Questions

When inspecting received material, questions expecting a Yes/No answer are now validated to ensure that each question is appropriately answered.

Default Reason Code on Modify IBLPN

When you have common scenarios for modifying a LPN, you can create a separate menu item and default the reason code, such as when you make a receipt adjustment.

Adjustment to FEFO Flag in Putaway

For products that are expiry date controlled, in 21C the Consider FEFO Flag used during Putaway has been enhanced to better support warehouse racking where the material is putaway on one side of the stock location and picked from the other side of the stock location, such as gravity feed mechanisms.

Prevent Appending of Scanned Values During RF Transactions

For mobile RF dialog popups that allow a barcode type, you can now override the defaulted value when scanning on your mobile device.  For example, the Lot Number may be defaulted from the Inbound Shipment.  When you want to verify Lot Numbers during the receiving process, this process has been streamlined.

Outbound Logistics

Define Order Waving Sequence Rules

Now you can flexibly define rules to control the sequence that orders are allocated and waved for picking.  Over 200 fields are available to define these rules including controlling the order sequence based on attributes on the Order Header, Order Detail, or the Item.

Restrict Number of Orders in an LPN During Pack NC Active

Now, you can control how many orders can be packed into an outbound LPN while performing the Pack NC Active RF transaction. Options include allowing one order, setting a maximum number of orders, or not restricting the number of orders packed into an outbound LPN. This additional control can help improve the throughput for e-Commerce fulfillment operations. For automated warehouses that use conveyors, it can reduce the number of outbound packaging containers required on outbound shipments.

Group Orders in Task Based on First Pick in Pick Sequence

The ability to group orders into tasks based on the first pick in the pick sequence allows for further optimization of the picking travel path. It also allows pickers to start at different stock locations reducing congestion on the warehouse floor.

Wave Pick Info Interface Enhancements

The Wave Pick Information Output Interface now sends trackable Inventory Attributes and Expiry date to the external systems that use this information to perform automated picking and/or print labels, packing slips, and shipping documents.

Support Explicit Substitution Using Pick Confirmation REST API

The Pick Confirmation REST API now supports explicit substitutions of the Inbound LPN, Lot Number, Expiry Date, and/or tracked Inventory Attributes used when an external system fulfills an order line.  When the allocated inventory and allowed substitutions are explicitly sent by the Pick Confirmation REST API to the external system, then only the substitutions explicitly communicated are allowed

Remove Personal Information on Processed Orders

In order to comply with increasing regulations on personal information, you now have the option to remove personal information from Oracle Warehouse Management for orders that have been fulfilled or canceled.

Cancel a Task Using a REST API

The Cancel Task REST API allows external systems to cancel a task that is in a ready or hold status.

WMS Mobile App

New Receiving Transaction in WMS Mobile App

The new Receiving Transaction in the WMS Mobile App support receiving uncartonized inbound shipments and purchase orders.

Web Reports and Dashboards

Additional Improvements to Web Reports Gen 2

Additional company parameters have been added to allow dates and times to be interpreted based on your current facility time zone and to evaluate formulas in the database to enhance the performance for some functions.  To allow for easier report creation, a flattened view of item hierarchies and additional categories have been added so that you no longer need to create aliases and complex joins for the most common reports.

Warehouse Automation

View MHE System for Allocated Inventory

In order to have improved visibility to the allocated inventory associated with each Material Handling Equipment system, you can now filter by and few the MHE System Code in the Allocation Inquiry screen.
