Warehouse Management

WMS Common

Query Multiple Entities in One GET Request Using values_list

You can now query multiple entities using lgfapi’s in one GET request.  This improved performance as it fetches less data in the most efficient way possible.

Updates to Redwood Look and Feel

Redwood Themes are now available for the Warehouse Management UI screens and include additional Redwood design elements.

Inventory Operations

Display List of Values in Inventory Attribute in RF Screens

The Warehouse Management RF screens now support a new hotkey to displays the list of values for inventory attributes. This streamlines the entry of inventory attributes during transactions. Warehouse Management uses inventory attributes for a variety of product attributes such as country of origin, project, etc.

Replenishment Based on Expiry Date Range Rule

Oracle Warehouse Management now considers Expiry Date Range rules for replenishment waves, in addition to picking waves. In industries like Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs), dynamic replenishment of expiry date tracked products is important for efficient, perfect order delivery.

Locate Remainders in RF Distribute Replenishment Screen

When picking cases for replenishment or work order picking, you carry the full LPN and drop the required inventory. Now in the Distribute Replenishment RF screen, you can drop the remaining LPN(s) to a specific location.

Summary Cycle Count Enhancements

The Summary Cycle Count Audit now allows you to scan a pallet and enter the number of LPNs within the pallet.  You can view user input in pallet scan mode (e.g. current location, pallet number).  The Summary Cycle Count Audit view now includes the type of cycle count performed for reserve locations.  Summary Cycle Count captures discrepancies for the following scenarios:

  • If an unanticipated Pallet number is scanned for the location
  • If an anticipated Pallet is not scanned for the location
  • If there is a count mismatch for the LPNs by pallet

The Summary Cycle Count Audit includes improves searching and filtering including allowing you to easily search and filter by the type of cycle count including whether it was a:

  • Pallet Count that involves counting the number of pallets for a reserve location
  • LPN Count that involves counting the number of LPNs in a reserve location
  • Pallet Scan that involves scanning the pallets and entering the number of LPNs within the pallet

Reinitiate In-Progress Deferred Cycle Counts

When you take a break from performing cycle counting (for example, when you get a break during their shift) and the cycle count you were working on is left In Progress, the same user can reinitiate the cycle count for reserve locations without losing counts already performed.

Inbound Logistics

Prompt Serial Numbers in RF Work Order Kit Processing

The RF Work Order Kit Processing transaction has been updated to support serial number scanning. As a result, the floor users dealing with kit items can now associate the serial numbers to the items. You can now avoid the serial discrepancies in the system and it is not mandatory to access the UI manually to associate serial numbers to the assembled kit items which are always conducive to floor productivity.

Outbound Logistics

Print Labels from RF Pack OBLPN

Now you can easily print outbound LPN labels from the RF Pack outbound LPN transaction.

Shipping Method Enhancements to Input Interfaces

Carrier, Carrier Type (e.g. Air, LTL/TL, Ocean, Parcel, and Rail), and Standard Carrier Service fields are available in the Order Input Interface and Order Interface Stage UI.

Shipping Method Enhancements to Outbound Interfaces

Carrier Type and Standard Carrier Service are available on the Outbound Load/ Outbound Manifest Interface, Order Outbound Load Interface, and the Container Ship Load Interface.

Resend Shipping Info from Update LPN Type RF Screen

When you update the LPN type after having communicated shipping information to external parties/systems, you can now regenerate and resend the outbound LPN shipping information.

Pack LPNs Using a REST API

WMS now allows you to repack Outbound LPNs (or temporary totes) that are in Picked status to destination OBLPNs and move them into Packed status using the Pack Inventory API and Close LPN API.  If needed you can short inventory during packing.

View Repack Requests UI

You can view the repack API requests including the number of serial numbers.  In the case of failed transactions, you can view why it failed and validate it against data available in Warehouse Management.
