Warehouse Management

WMS Common

Change Default Printer from Warehouse Management UI

Now, you can easily change your default label printer and default document printer.

Inventory Operations

Work Order Wave Based on Expiry Date Range

Oracle Cloud Warehouse Management allows you to configure an Expiry Date Range rule in your work order wave template. You can now set up rules and instruct the system to allocate the kitting components.

For example, you can specify an expiry date range to allocate material with at least X days of shelf life and/or no more than Y days of shelf life.

Print Labels for All Locations Filtered in Locations UI

With one click, you can print labels for all selected locations.  You can specify the number of labels you would like to print when you confirm.

Palletize and Cartonize LPNs During WMS Kitting

When performing kit-to-stock and kit-to-order scenarios, you can enter the number of LPNs and the quantity per LPN to create and pack into the scanned pallet.

Inbound Logistics

Receiving Enhancements for Serialized Items

When receiving non-cartonized loads or shipments, additional fields have been added to better identify/link the inventory to its corresponding serial number - including Lot Number, Expiry Date, Inventory Attributes, PO Number, PO Sequence Number, and Receipt Advice Line. This additional information may now be provided when receiving non-cartonized shipments or loads or through the Inbound Shipment Serial Number interface.

When you have already provided all of the serial numbers linked to the Inbound Shipment, you can perform a streamlined receipt of the entire shipment.  The system identifies/links serial numbers to the corresponding inventory using a combination of the item, lot number, expiry date, inventory attributes, PO Number, PO Sequence Number, and Receipt Advice Line combination.  If the system cannot identify/link the serial numbers with its corresponding inventory, you need to provide additional information or perform detailed receiving.

Auto Verify Advanced Shipment Notification Status

Now, you can specify the Shipment Status when running a request to Auto Verify Inbound Shipments. For example, you can select to only auto-verify Inbound Shipments with a Shipment Status of Receiving Complete.

Improvements to Label Printing in Inbound LPN Inquiry UI

Label Printing in the IBLPN Inquiry UI has been enhanced so that you can select the printer that is closest to you, saving you time in daily operations. You also now have the option to print multiple label copies per LPN.

Support Crossdock Receiving Using a REST API

The Receive REST API now allows cross-docking of an LPN.

Outbound Logistics

Display Total Quantity in RF Pick Cart

RF Pick Cart shows the total quantity to pick from a location when performing cart picking. Displaying the total quantity is especially helpful in scenarios when you want to bulk pick an item from a single location and then distribute that item across multiple bins in your cart.

Increase Productivity Using OBLPN Cart Position Ordering

When you allocate and wave, you can order the allocations by Outbound LPN Cart Position to increase the productivity of cart picking.

WMS Mobile App

Alternate Location Support for Putaway

When selecting an alternate location during putaway, you can choose a reason code.  Allowing operators to provide a reason code for putting material away in a different location than the system suggested helps warehouse managers analyze warehouse performance and exceptions.

SCM Integrator

Shipping Method Enhancements for Sales Orders

The pre-built OIC-based integration for sales order shipments now includes mapping the shipping method from Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Management to Oracle Fusion Cloud Warehouse Management. Oracle Cloud WMS derives the Ship Via code from the combination of carrier, mode of transport, and service level values.
