Semiconductor foundry DB HiTek innovates security management with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse

DB HiTek Co., Ltd., a global leading foundry specializing in system semiconductor, has deployed Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse to build a highly efficient security solution. The new system will give them the ability to quickly identify and respond to security issues based on an AI-driven, automated, security log analysis system. This will help the organisation better protect itself from cyber attacks. DB HiTek also expects to increase business efficiency, as typically if a security incident occurs its automated production process has to be stopped, and be able to free up IT and security staff to focus on higher value tasks. Additionally, highly visual dashboards will enable stakeholders to understand security at a glance and use the analysis to make data-driven investment decisions.

Robust security management has become one of the company’s key success factors, given that today, more than ever, electronic devices are critical to everyday life, with semiconductor chips being the brains within them that power the internet and run the world. Since its deployment in September, 2019, DB HiTek has been utilizing Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse to run its security management system. Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse enables on-site staff to directly analyze security data without the help of IT technicians. Implementing multifaceted security analysis including all types of data, Autonomous Data Warehouse enables managers to have an overview of the security status. Furthermore, previously manual analysis of the security log is currently automated to promptly respond to newly identified security issues.
