Leading with purpose

As AI reshapes industries and creates new possibilities, Oracle is helping organizations navigate one of the most significant transformations of our time. We’ve embedded AI throughout our technology stack, enabling customers to innovate faster, meet increasingly complex challenges, and unlock new opportunities for growth. And, as our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure footprint grows, so too does our responsibility to the communities where we operate. We approach that responsibility with humility and a long-term commitment to investing in trusted partnerships with nonprofit organizations, civic leaders, and local governments to advance economic opportunity, strengthen communities, support education, and steward the environment we all share.

Whether our presence in a community is newly established or decades in the making, we believe enduring progress is achieved by listening and learning first, acting with purpose, and continuously investing in the success of people and places for generations to come.

Philanthropy

Our philanthropic approach reflects that belief, with US$29 million donated to organizations in 50 countries worldwide in fiscal year 2026, including Oracle matching US$2.9 million in employee donations to charitable causes. We’re proud to support initiatives in education, health, community, and environmental sustainability, knowing that meaningful progress depends on collective action and sustained commitment.

We also operate two charitable foundations dedicated to young people. Oracle Health Foundation provides pediatric case grants worldwide, funding everything from hearing aids to major surgeries. In fiscal year 2026, it contributed more than US$2.5 million toward life-changing and lifesaving care. Oracle Education Foundation teaches students to innovate and solve real-world problems using technology. Supported by hundreds of Oracle Volunteers, it delivered 17,882 hours of learning for Design Tech High School and other partners in fiscal year 2026.

Design Tech High School (d.tech) is the pioneering public charter school located on our Redwood Shores, California, campus. While the school is autonomous, support from Oracle and Oracle Education Foundation enables it to deliver 558,000 hours of innovative learning a year. It has outperformed comparable California schools across multiple metrics, including graduation rates and college admissions—demonstrating what’s possible when innovation and opportunity come together.

As we expand our AI data center footprint, we are deepening our commitment to the communities we’re joining, not just as neighbors but as genuine partners in a shared future. Every community is different, which is why we begin by listening—working alongside local leaders and organizations to understand their unique priorities and invest in solutions that reflect their aspirations, strengthen their resilience, and create lasting impact. In New Mexico, we’re working alongside the Well Done Foundation to plug orphaned oil and gas wells, avoiding methane emissions and restoring surrounding land and ecosystems. In Michigan, we’re helping fund the modernization of the Saline Recreation Center, a pillar for families across Washtenaw County and the neighboring communities. In Texas, our support for the Food Bank of West Central Texas is helping combat food insecurity across the region. And in Wisconsin, we’re helping the Port Washington-Saukville School District Foundation innovate in education.

People

Our 130,000 employees around the world embody our values and make our impact possible. Last year alone, 44,474 Oracle Volunteers contributed 161,172 hours to support 1,205 organizations, advancing education, promoting health, strengthening communities, and protecting the environment. From stocking shelves and distributing meals at local food banks, to restoring parks, beaches, and waterways through community cleanups, to inspiring the next generation through mentoring, coding workshops, and robotics programs, Oracle employees are making a tangible difference where they live and work.

At the same time, we are investing in the future workforce. Through Oracle Academy, we worked with nearly 39,000 educators globally to help prepare students for success in technology careers. We’ve also paired our investments in AI infrastructure with a new data center curriculum to equip the next generation of professionals with the confidence, skills, and experience they need to fill technical roles in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

Planet

Caring for our communities also means caring for the planet we all share. As we continue to grow, we’re focused on expanding responsibly by reducing our environmental impact and investing in the infrastructure needed to support the future.

We have set a goal to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2035 and continue to invest in renewable energy sources. We’re also designing our AI data centers thoughtfully. Our closed-loop, non-evaporative cooling systems save millions of gallons of water each day, bringing water use at our largest campuses in line with that of a typical office building. On energy, we are committed to paying our own way: We either fund the necessary power grid upgrades or build our own onsite power generation, ensuring our operations do not increase electricity costs for neighboring residents.

Beyond our technical footprint, we invest directly in the natural environment to support habitat restoration, biodiversity protection, land preservation, and other critical conservation efforts. In fact, this year marks 37 years of partnership with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, whose nearly five decades of work have brought mountain gorillas back from the brink of extinction, conserved critical habitats, and strengthened the communities that share those landscapes. Since 2009, we’ve also supported National Geographic Pristine Seas to advance science-based ocean conservation through expeditions that inform the creation of marine protected areas, safeguarding some of the world's most important marine ecosystems. And, through support for local nonprofits such as the Urban Waters initiative, we’re helping restore local waterways, including Browns Creek, an urban tributary that flows into the Cumberland River just two miles from our Nashville campus. These enduring partnerships reflect our belief that protecting nature is essential to a thriving planet.

Practices

Our commitment to transparency, business ethics, and responsible governance is the cornerstone of our leadership. This includes how we show up as corporate citizens in every community where we operate—with integrity, respect, a sense of purpose, and a genuine desire to contribute. We hope you’ll share this information with others. And if you’d like to share your feedback, please write to us at impact_ww@oracle.com.
