Sound doesn't work out of the box. You need to install the latest oss package. Currently, only the jack produces sound.

My Dell Latitude D630 uses the same chipset (Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5755M). I've had to download the NetXtreme Server Solaris driver (specified to be for a different chipset) from the link you specified to get it to work.

3: "Ken Conoly"
installed Solaris 10 8/07 on Dell Latitude d830 w/64 bit processor and the system goes into an infinite reboot cycle.
