1. the interal intel nic works with iprb driver but you need to add 'pci8086,1064 pci8086,1064 net pci iprb.bef "Intel Pro/100 VE Ethernet"' to /boot/solaris/devicedb/master and 'iprb "pci8086,1064' to /etc/driver_aliases.
