What’s New in Oracle Integration 26.01 by Niall Commiskey Introduction Solidifying the power of AI in OIC is a big focus of our 26.01 release, along with constantly enhancing our core iPaaS offering. Before looking at 26.01 in detail, here’s a quick recap of the plethora of AI driven features we released in 2025. AI Features released in 2025 AI Assistant Use our AI Assistant to auto-create projects and integrations. Creating and maintaining good documentation is not one of your fortes? Then let our AI Assistant do that for you. This turbocharges your business automation development. Having issues sometimes deciphering technical error messages at runtime? Then let out Assistant translate such into natural language. Agent Tools During 2025, we gave you the ability to expose OIC Project Integrations as AI Agent Tools. With just one click that integration that creates purchase orders in Fusion ERP can be exposed as a tool to third party Agents via MCP. This is a huge value add, the ability to easily expose your enterprise systems of record processes to 3rd party AI Agents. AI Agents Also during last year, we included the ability to create your own AI Agents in OIC Projects. This was another major milestone on or continuing AI journey; another of which was the introduction of Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) – In Oracle Integration, human in the loop is designed as an approval orchestration tool to obtain human approval, feedback and oversight in agentic AI powered automation solutions. Human in the loop supports agentic AI by involving humans at critical decision points.
New Adapters and Connectivity Enhancements in Oracle Integration 26.01 by Madhav Poosarla Oracle Integration advances enterprise connectivity in this release with AI-powered capabilities that simplify and accelerate integration development. Using natural language prompts, Oracle Integration can assist in designing integrations, automatically configuring REST endpoints, and enabling intelligent, semantic search through the AI vector search in the Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) Adapter. This release also introduces the OpenSearch, NetSuite REST Adapter and the Google Sheets Adapter, expanding connectivity across ERP and productivity applications. In addition, it delivers enhancements across SaaS, database, messaging, and GraphQL-based integrations, including stronger OAuth security with PKCE support, enhanced query customization, and improved runtime response handling.
What’s New in Oracle Integration – Process 26.01 by Stan Tanev The 26.01 release of Oracle Integration is now available. This release focuses on bringing improvements to process life cycle management tasks and improving the user experience across instance tracking. Unified Identity Application Starting from this release, new process instances provisioned through Oracle Integration will no longer have a separate identity application. This will remove additional configuration requirements needed to access the service and eliminate the ongoing burden of role membership synchronisation. Existing instances created prior to this release will not be affected. They will continue to use a separate identity application for process. How It Works For administrators managing Oracle Integration, here’s what changes: No separate Process application – Newly provisioned process instances share the Oracle Integration identity application. You’ll no longer see a separate Process Automation application listed under Oracle Cloud Services
Action Required: Migrate WSDL-Based Salesforce Connections in Oracle Integration by Madhav Poosarla As part of ongoing improvements in Oracle Integration, support for WSDL-based connections in Salesforce Adapter integrations is being deprecated, with enforcement beginning in 26.02 for Development instances and 26.03 for Production instances. Customers must migrate affected integrations to the new Salesforce connection type within the announced timelines to avoid integration disruption. Attention Oracle Integration Customers Using Salesforce Adapter This applies to integrations that use WSDL-based Salesforce connections created by uploading Enterprise WSDL files. Problem Statement WSDL-based Salesforce connections increase ongoing maintenance overhead. To simplify integration maintenance and improve overall usability, Oracle Integration is deprecating support for these connections. Impact on Existing Integrations Integrations using WSDL-based Salesforce connections must be migrated to Salesforce Adapter connections that do not rely on uploaded WSDL files. Failure to complete this migration before the deadline may result in integration disruption. Required Action Customers must migrate all WSDL-based Salesforce connections to ensure uninterrupted integration flows.
Object Storage Native Action in Oracle-Managed Disaster Recovery by Vernon Saldanha Native actions for OCI services such as object storage, functions, and AI features provide great capabilities that allow you to develop seamless, complex integrations that leverage the benefits of these OCI services. However, these actions are configured within an integration and are usually tied to a region. Due to this, these actions do not play well with the Oracle-Managed Disaster Recovery automation, which is meant to provide seamless business continuity in the event of a disaster. While this is an important topic for us to automate as part of our disaster recovery story, here is a recommended solution that should be part of your post failover standard operating procedure (SOP). In this blog, we focus on a solution for integrations that implement object storage. What This Is Not • This is not meant to define a disaster recovery strategy for these region-specific OCI services. • Object storage, which is the focus of this blog – Users should create a separate object storage bucket in a DR region. Current state Here is how an integration that uses object storage looks. Notice that the Resource URI is tied to the object storage resource in the region where the integration was developed.
Automate Oracle Integration Project Deployment by Pradyumna Kodgi Building on Streamline Your DevOps, I will demonstrate how to automate integration promotion between two Oracle Integration 3 instances using Jenkins as the DevOps tool for automation. Note that you can use any DevOps tools with the Oracle Integration API for this automation.
Prerequisite: • Generate a token for your OIC3 environments by following this step-by-step video guide, which explains the process in detail. Be sure to generate tokens for both the source and target environments. To ensure the process works, test it using a tool like Postman to verify token generation. • Develop integrations in a Project. Developing integrations is highly recommended in OIC3. • Create a deployment configuration file. You can find a sample deployment file here. In my example, I placed deployment file in Git Hub.
