About GNR Processors
|
GNR, or Global Name Recognition, is a suite of APIs produced by the
IBM corporation.
Oracle have integrated with many of these APIs in order to provide
analysis, parsing and matching of names based on GNR's extensive dictionaries
of linguistic name variants.
In order to use GNR within OEDQ:
- You must have purchased valid licenses for the
use of the GNR APIs from the IBM Corporation
- You must have purchased the
GNR extension from Oracle
- You must install Oracle's distribution of the
GNR APIs onto the OEDQ server. This is a separate package from
the main OEDQ product. The package is made available to customers
who fulfil the two criteria above. See the pdf document GNR
Installation Notes provided with the OEDQ GNR package for installation
instructions.
