Oracle Search-Based Global Search
Enrich your search experience with the new Global Search for HCM. The new search facility provides a faster search experience and introduces new search capabilities.
Global search is based on Oracle Search, a dedicated search platform for Oracle Cloud.

Autocomplete Rules for HCM Experience Design Studio Enhancements
Enhance your users' experience authoring new rules in Autocomplete Rules for HCM Experience Design Studio with more capabilities available for different areas such as:
- Talent Profile with more content exposed like Competency, Skills, Language, Membership, Previous Employment, Career Preferences, Special Projects, Accomplishments, Honors and Awards, Work Preference
- Create and Edit Job Offer to default the proposed start date
- New delivered rules for the Person area including localization-specific rules, and for the Goal Management area such as validate performance goal dates
Transaction Design Studio for HCM Experience Design Studio Enhancements
Increase your data quality and enhance the user experience using Transaction Design Studio for HCM Experience Design Studio. The Personalize the Save and Save and Close Actions in the toolbar has been extended to more actions such as Administer Compensation and Change Salary.
HCM Common Replaced or Removed Features
From time to time, Oracle replaces existing features with new features, or removes existing features.
Replaced features may be put on a path of removal, the features below will let you know what update you will have to have moved to the newer feature. As a best practice, you should move to the newer feature as soon as possible for full support and to stay up with the latest updates that the product offers.
Any feature that is removed, will have an Update in which that feature is no longer available. Please make necessary plans to move off the feature by the Update indicated, as it will no longer be available.
HCM Data Loader Must Be Used For All Payroll Objects
Effective with the Update 22B, Oracle has discontinued the remaining Payroll Batch Loader objects, making Payroll Batch Loader fully decommissioned. HCM Data Loader (HDL) is the default tool for data loading and update tasks. If you are using Payroll Batch Loader, you need to immediately move to loading tasks to HCM Data Loader.
HCM Data Loader provides a flexible and efficient method of bulk loading business object data for data-migration and on-going incremental updates to Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud.

Spreadsheet Template Design Changes
Enhance your data loading capabilities with an improved bulk-loading spreadsheet template designer. It includes the following changes:
- Changes in the validate and save options. Now, you can now save active templates that have been successfully validated.
- Easier to define a valid template. Now, when you request duplicates of your selected attributes, attributes from the parent object are now automatically selected for you.

Enhancements to Approvals and Notifications
Take advantage of the enhancements that have been made to Transaction Console:
- In addition to the initiator, you can now send alerts to a user or a group of users using different templates when a transaction fails.
- Users can now search transactions using the familiar faceted filters in the Simulation page.
