Search for Work Definitions Based on Item Effectivity Using ADFDI
Search for and view work definition operation items based on their date effectivity using the Application Development Framework Desktop Integration (ADFdi) spreadsheet. You can restrict the search results to display past, current, and future, or current, or current and future items, effective as of the current date or a specified date.
NOTE: This feature was also made available in a monthly update of 19A.

Validate Material Issue During Production
Verify and validate that the production operator issues push materials only as per the required quantity. Based on an operation-level setup, you can prevent the production operator from issuing more than the required quantity, issuing materials not listed in the work order, and issuing other supply type materials.
Validate Operation Completion During Production
Verify and validate whether certain criteria are met before completing an operation in a work order. Based on an operation-level setup, you can validate whether all required push materials are issued, the issued quantities are not less than the required quantity, and all open production exceptions are closed. The operation-level setup determines whether the production operator can complete the operation with a warning, or is prevented from completing the operation.
Synchronize Item Structure Quantities to Work Definitions Using a Scheduled Process
Automatically synchronize the quantity changes in the item structure of standard items to the impacted manufacturing work definitions using a scheduled process. The modified item structure components are updated only if you previously assigned the components to a single operation.
Update Product Genealogy Without Waiting for a Scheduled Process to Run
Use the profile option named Genealogy Build Deferred During Execution to determine when your manufacturing transactions are updated to the product genealogy table for your organization.
Monitor Manufacturing Work Orders and Resource Instances with IoT-Enabled Equipment
View real-time data in the IoT Production Monitoring application by drilling down into a manufacturing work order and equipment resource instances. For equipment connected with IoT, you can monitor work orders and equipment for insights and predictions on production performance.
Define and Execute Batch Production for Process Manufacturing
Define and execute production for materials processed in batches with support for multiple co-products and by-products. You can also perform standard cost planning and work order cost accounting, ensure lot tracking and traceability, and review real-time analytics of co-products and by-products yields.
Perform Cost Rollup for Process Manufacturing Work Definitions
Perform cost rollup for process manufacturing work definitions with one or more output items. You can specify the costing batch size to determine the standard cost of production batches. You can allocate costs based on percentage of total cost or a fixed cost for the primary product and co-products.
Cost Account Process Manufacturing Work Orders
Calculate the cost, and perform cost accounting for inventory and resource transactions for process manufacturing work orders.
Supply Chain Management Common Components
Extend End Dates on Existing Schedules
Extend an existing schedule by providing a new end date further in the future. Your existing schedule detail data for working and nonworking time is kept, and the additional information representing the incremental change of date is appended to the existing set of data.
Use Side Tabs on Manage Plant Parameters User Interface
Access plant parameter details in side tabs on the Manage Plant Parameters page. The new page layout reduces crowding from the original page and makes the Manage Plant Parameters task easier to perform.
Configure Object Number for Quality Issues and Quality Actions
Configure how the object number is generated for each type of quality issue or action. You can enable a user to type in a number manually, or automatially generate the next number in the sequence.
Create Quality Issues and Quality Actions Through Groovy Scripting
Leverage Application Composer to execute groovy scripting from the Actions menu and automatically create new quality issue or action objects from another Application Composer-enabled object. You can pass across the Name and Type values from the existing object to the new object.
Delete a Quality Issue or Quality Action in Draft Status
Delete quality issues and quality actions (with the exception of manufacturing production exceptions and inspection nonconformances) while they are in Draft status.
Send Notification for Quality Issues and Quality Actions to Improve Collaboration
Use the Send Notification action for quality issues and quality actions to send an FYI notification with a personalized message to stakeholders. Stakeholders can view the notifications from the Notification (bell) icon.
Use Application Composer Attributes to Define Quality Issues and Actions
Extend the definition of quality issues and quality actions with additional date, text, and number extensible attributes in Application Composer.
Use Advanced Search to Add Users in Quality Issue or Quality Action Workflows
Quickly assign workflow approvers for quality issues and actions using the Advanced Search feature. Apart from standard search operators such as Starts With, Ends With, Equals, Contains, and so on, you can use additional fields such as Email, Email Address ID, or Name, to pick approvers.
