User Interface

Access Work Areas in Reorganized Navigator Groups and Group Icons

Locate and use your Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud work areas under new headings in the Navigator, and new group icons on the home page. The new headings and group icons in this update are Order Management and Supply Chain Execution. Removed headings and group icons are Costing, Manufacturing, and Quality Management.

Sales and Operations Planning

Simplify Supply Chain Network Definition

Run aggregate supply plans without the need to define sourcing assignments by customers. Instead, you can define them at more aggregate levels or use the sourcing assignments defined in Oracle Supply Planning Cloud.

Display Description in Planning Tables and Graphs

Easily analyze planning data in planning tables and graphs using the description fields of entities in hierarchies, such as items and organizations, when their primary identifier is a hard-to-understand alphanumeric code. You can now toggle between the code and description, or display both, in planning tables and graphs for the following entities: Items, Organizations, Resources, Work Centers, and Work Areas.

Copy Data from One Measure to Another

Efficiently manage measure data, such as forecasts, by specifying the data source for which values should be copied to the selected range of cells in the target measure. You can optionally transform the data by specifying arithmetic operations to be performed on the source data prior to copying.

Automate Upload of File-Based Data

Automate the upload of transactional and master data to Oracle Supply Chain Planning Cloud using the ERP Integration Service application programming interface (API). You can now invoke uploads for these files using Oracle ERP adapter of Oracle Integration Cloud Service.

Simulate Changes to Item Planning Method

Simulate a change in an item planning method to evaluate its effect on the plan. You can incorporate flexible planning processes that enable you to plan items differently depending on your needs, without having to change the planning method in the system of record.

Consider Circular Transfer Order Supply

Consider transfer order supply in a plan where the direction of the transfer order is in the inverse direction of that in a sourcing rule.

Explore Cross-Supply Chain Linkages Using the Build Plan

Explore additional supply and demand linkages using the Build Plan page to better analyze plan data, make changes to supply and demand, and understand the effect of these changes, all in one page.

Release Manually Created Supply Orders

Release planned supply orders, such as transfer orders, purchase requisitions, and work orders, for execution even if you created the orders manually.

Planning Central

Display Description in Planning Tables and Graphs

Easily analyze planning data in planning tables and graphs using the description fields of entities in hierarchies, such as items and organizations, when their primary identifier is a hard-to-understand alphanumeric code. You can now toggle between the code and description, or display both, in planning tables and graphs for the following entities: Items, Organizations, Resources, Work Centers, and Work Areas.

Export Plan Data to a File

Export the measure data from a plan based on any planning table to a file.

Demand Management

Display Description in Planning Tables and Graphs

Easily analyze planning data in planning tables and graphs using the description fields of entities in hierarchies, such as items and organizations, when their primary identifier is a hard-to-understand alphanumeric code. You can now toggle between the code and description, or display both, in planning tables and graphs for the following entities: Items, Organizations, Resources, Work Centers, and Work Areas.
