*Government Rate Eligibility:
U.S. and Canada: The Government rate is open to U.S and Canadian bona fide employees of a federal, state, or local government entity, including public higher education institutions. Attendees registering under the Government rate will be required to show their employee-issued government ID or other proof of government employment during check-in at Moscone Center. Oracle may, at its sole discretion, charge the full conference amount to anyone not satisfying this requirement.
All other countries: The Government rate is open to all other international delegates who are bona fide employees of a national, state/county, or local government entity only. International attendees (with the exception of Canada) registering under the Government rate will be required to fax or e-mail proof of government employee status (copy of government photo ID or a letter on official company letterhead stating that they are an employee of their organization) to the Oracle OpenWorld registration team in order to receive the discounted rate. Oracle may, at its sole discretion, charge the full conference amount to anyone not satisfying this requirement.

When you register, your information is forwarded through an approval process. Once your registration is approved, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and housing details. Please be advised that Oracle OpenWorld will be occupying the majority of hotel space in the San Francisco area. We recommend that you book your accommodations and flights as soon as possible. The attendance for this event is expected to be very high, and hotels in the City and preferred flights into the Bay Area are expected to be quite full.

Employee Registration closes September 15, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. (PST).
All exhibitors and sponsors must register prior to arriving at Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco. Register as an exhibitor staff or exhibitor full conference by selecting your exhibiting company name and following the instructions on the registration form.

Cancellations
All cancellations must be received in writing and must be made no less than 72 hours prior to arrival. Failure to follow these procedures for cancellation will incur a penalty equal to one night's room and tax. Please fax your cancellation notice to +1.650.226.0840.
- Full Refund: Cancellation must be received by close of business on July 18, 2008.
- 50% Refund: Cancellation must be received between July 19, 2008 and close of business on August 15, 2008.
- No refunds will be given after August 15, 2008.
- Cancellation of travel reservations and hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant.
Substitutions
Substitutions must be in writing to the Oracle OpenWorld Registration Office at OpenWorldReg@eventreg.com with the names of both the original and substitute registrant. All requests for substitutions must be received no later than close of business on September 19, 2008. Onsite substitutions will incur a $100 processing fee.
