Jena Adapter for Oracle Database 11g

The Jena Adapter for Oracle Database (Jena Adapter) provides a feature rich Java-based interface to RDF Semantic Graph that implements the well-known Jena Graph, Model, BulkUpdateHandler, and DatasetGraph APIs. It supports SPARQL 1.1 and geo SPARQL queries. It runs on WebLogic Server.

  • Release 11.2.0.3
    • Requires Oracle Database 11.2.0.3 (or release 11.2.0.2 and patch 9825019: SEMANTIC TECHNOLOGIES 11G R2 FIX BUNDLE 3 for release 11.2.0.2) and JDK 1.6.
    • Includes Apache Jena 2.6.4, ARQ 2.8.8, and Joseki 3.4.4 as a complete web application (no additional downloads are needed).
    • Includes a Protege Plugin for Oracle Database and a SPARQL Gateway for tools that support an XML data source to query an RDF Graph in Oracle Database.
    • Includes the enhancements in release 11.2.0.2 and support for: named graphs for Java APIs and Joseki Web service endpoints, SPARQL 1.1, options for entailment calls, analytical functions for RDF data, improved OntModel support, JSON format support for SPARQL query responses and virtual models.
  • Release 11.2.0.2 requires Oracle Database 11.2.0.2, ARQ 2.8.5, Jena 2.6.3, Joseki 3.4.2, and JDK 1.6. It introduces a SPARQL Gateway feature that makes semantic data (RDF/OWL/SKOS) easily available to applications that operate on relational and XML data, such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11g. It also introduces mid tier caching, binding variables, optimized join methods for federated queries, bulk loading of RDF documents and direct loading of RDFa from any Web site into the Oracle Database RDF store.

Sesame Adapter for Oracle Database 11g Release 2

The Sesame Adapter for Oracle Database 11g Release 2 integrates the popular Sesame Java APIs with RDF Semantic Graph. Sesame, created by OpenRDF (http://www.openrdf.org/), is an open source framework for storage, inferencing and querying of RDF data. The Sesame Adapter provides a Java API for interacting with semantic data stored in Oracle Database by implementing various interfaces of the Sesame Storage and Inference Layer (SAIL) API. It also provides integration with the following Sesame tools: Sesame Server, Sesame Console, and OpenRDF Workbench. Sesame version 2.3.1 and JDK 6 are required. Cytoscape Plugin

This is a no-cost plugin for the cytoscape program ( www.cytoscape.org). The plugin enables a read/write interface between Oracle Database and the cytoscape program. In addition, it also enables some network analysis functions from cytoscape. The README.txt file within the zipfile has instructions for installing and using this plugin.(Includes support for OS authentication.)

This download may be needed to update Oracle Spatial and Graph 11.2.0.1.0 with the latest RDF graph features described in the RDF Semantic Graph Developer's Guide if they are not available after the Oracle Spatial and Graph 11g Release 2 upgrade is completed.
