Check Your Configuration - follow these 6 simple steps | |
| 1. Check that your system will run the Solaris OS. |
If your system is not currently listed on the Solaris HCL but you have installed Solaris 10, please consider submitting details of your system so we may share this information with the Solaris user community. |
| 2. Find out if you have enough memory. | Solaris requires at least 256 MB of memory for a normal installation. However, for PXE booting, 512 MB is the recommended amount. |
| 3. Make sure you have enough disk space. | A minimum of 2 GB of available space on your hard drive is recommended. |
| 4. Make sure you have the latest and greatest software. |
