My Oracle Support Download Instructions
Visit My Oracle Support - under the tab"Patches & Updates, choose "Oracle VM Server for SPARC" in the field "Product or Family (Advanced Search)" or search the patch number.
Visit Oracle Technology Network Patching Center to obtain required system firmware patches, Solaris OS patches, and any Oracle VM Server for SPARC software patches.
Oracle Software Delivery Cloud Download Instructions - Oracle VM Server for SPARC (2.0 release only)
Visit http://edelivery.oracle.com/
Complete your registration information (Name, Company Name, Email Address and Country) and click on the download agreement
Select "Oracle Solaris Virtualization Products" from the "Select a Product Pack" pull-down menu
Select "Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit)" from the "Platform" pull-down menu
Click "Go" and then select the software - Oracle VM Server for SPARC 2.0
Read the readme, download and unzip the file
- Download Oracle VM Server for x86 and Oracle VM Manager from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud
- Download Oracle VM Server Update from Oracle Unbreakable Linux Network and Oracle's Public Yum Repository
- Download Oracle VM 3.2 can be downloaded from My Oracle Support in addition to Oracle Software Delivery Cloud
- Oracle VM Server for x86: For 3.2.3 server ISO, search patch ID 16410428; For 3.2.1, search patch ID 16104743
- Oracle VM Manager: For 3.2.3 upgrade, search patch ID 16410417; For 3.2.1, search patch ID 16104753
- Oracle VM Agent 3.2.3 for SPARC, search patch ID 16694949; For 3.2.1, search patch ID 16104764
- Download Oracle VM Manager 3.1.1 Patch Update from My Oracle Support, patch ID 14227416
- Download Oracle VM Server 3.1.1 ISO Update from My Oracle Support, patch ID 14775391
- Download Oracle VM Manager 3.0.3 Patch Update from My Oracle Support, patch ID 13614645
- Download Oracle VM 3 Utilities (provided as-is and not formally supported except for ovm_vmhostd for SAP customers) from My Oracle Support, patch ID 16532839, please review README for instructions.
- Download Oracle VM Templates
- Download Oracle Linux and Oracle Linux JeOS
- Download Additional Software for Oracle VM Server for x86 (Oracle VM 2.1)
Oracle VM Server for SPARC
The following key components work together to deliver the Oracle VM Server for SPARC solution.
- Supported SPARC servers with required system firmware.
- Oracle Solaris 10 OS or Oracle Solaris 11 OS
- Logical Domains Manager that is used to create and manage logical domains on supported SPARC servers.
Please refer to Oracle VM Server for SPARC Release Notes for specific details of required and minimum software and supported platforms.
- Download Oracle Solaris 11 or Oracle Solaris 10, and pre-built Oracle VM Templates
- Download Sun System Firmware
- Download Oracle VM Server for SPARC 3.0 software has been integrated into Oracle Solaris 11.1 SRU, refer to Oracle Solaris 11.1 Support Repository Updates (SRU) Index [ID 1501435.1] from My Oracle Support. To use with Oracle VM Manager 3.2, please download Oracle VM Agent 3.2 for SPARC, search patch ID 16694949. For Solaris 10, search patch ID 15682381, and apply the latest ldmd patch 150011-03;
