Chet Kamat is CEO and managing director of Oracle Financial Services Software Limited, a majority-owned subsidiary of Oracle Corporation and an integral part of Oracle's Financial Services Global Business Unit.
Mr. Kamat has more than 30 years of financial services, consulting, and business transformation experience. His expertise in banking transformation has driven strong top-line impact for both the products and services businesses at Oracle Financial Services Software. He is passionate in nurturing a culture of operational excellence and customer delight.
Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Kamat was managing director at STG, a leading private equity firm focused on investing in software and enterprise services companies. At STG he was responsible for the transformation and operations of its portfolio companies with a specific focus on their use of global operating models.
Earlier, Mr. Kamat worked as the CEO of a retail financial services startup and at Accenture. Joining Accenture in 1986, he worked across Accenture locations in India, the United States, Sweden, Hungary, and the Philippines in a range of business consulting and large-scale systems integration engagements. In his last role at Accenture, Mr. Kamat was managing partner of Accenture's India Delivery Centre Network, which he was responsible for establishing from scratch and growing to a 13,000-strong unit serving more than 200 global clients.
Mr. Kamat obtained his master's degree in computer science from the University of Bombay and a post-graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has served as the chairman of the board of directors at Teleca AB, and as a director on the boards of Netik Inc., Symphony Marketing Solutions Inc., and The Capital Markets Company N.V.
Executive Vice President
Derek Williams is Executive Vice President of Oracle Corporation. In this role, he provides overall leadership for Oracle Japan. He also serves as the company's top ambassador for industry, government, and policy within the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Williams was responsible for Oracle's Asia Pacific operations from 1991 to 2009. Today, Oracle has 75 offices in 29 countries in Asia Pacific and Japan.
Among his key accomplishments was the development of Oracle's business in China and India. In China, there are five development and solution centers including the Oracle Asia Research and Development Centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. In recognition of his contribution to the development of the Chinese software industry, Mr. Williams was awarded an honorary professorship from Shanghai Textile University in 1995.
Mr. Williams is a member of Oracle's Executive Committee, a director for Oracle Japan.
Senior Vice President
Mr. Harinderjit Singh (Sonny Singh) is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Oracle's Financial Services Global Business Unit. In this role, he is responsible for a global organization focused on Sales, Consulting, Engineering and Support, of Oracle's products focused on Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets.
During his 23-year career at Oracle, Mr. Singh has been instrumental in leading the creation and execution of highly successful corporate, business unit, and new market strategies that produce strong top-line impact across all of Oracle's hardware, software, and services product lines.
Prior to his current role, he was the Senior Vice President of Oracle's Industries Business Unit, which is responsible for Oracle's go-to-market strategy. In this role, his organization was responsible for product marketing, competitive intelligence, field enablement, deal acceleration, and mergers-and-acquisition integration across Oracle's entire product and services portfolio. In addition, his organization delivered all of Oracle's strategic customer engagement capabilities. These include solutions and expertise for all industry vertical segments; the Oracle Insight program, which is Oracle's branded value engineering competency; and the Oracle Solution Centers. Additionally, his organization provided the business strategy, tools, and programs for Oracle's key accounts and midsize market segments.
Prior to leading the Oracle Industries Business Unit, Mr. Singh was Group Vice President for Oracle Consulting, where he led Oracle's services business in North America Strategic Accounts.
Mr. Singh holds a master's degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Punjab University, India. He is active in his local community and serves on the Board at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose, California.
Ms. Maria Smith is Vice President, Assistant Corporate Controller and Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions Integration for Oracle Corporation. She is responsible for leading Global Controller & Accounting Operations for EMEA, Americas and Japac and also Corporate Accounting.
Ms. Smith joined Oracle in 1999. Prior to Oracle, she was financial controller at Fujitsu Consulting and Amdahl Ireland. Ms. Smith began her career with Ernst and Young. Maria brings over 25 years of financial accounting and executive management experience.
Ms. Smith graduated from Dublin City University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
In 2014, Ms. Smith was a winner at WXN Ireland's Most Powerful Women in the Corporate Executive Category, which was sponsored by HSBC bank.
Mr. Richard Jackson prior to joining the Board of Oracle Financial Services Software Limited, he was for seven years in China as the President and CEO of Ping An Group's banking business, 21 years with Citibank in seven different countries including time as their country head in Korea and Hungary.
Mr. Richard Jackson served on the Boards of Bank Handlowy w Warsawie (Poland), Citibank (Hungary), Koram Bank (Korea), Shenzhen Commercial Bank and Shenzhen Development Bank (China).
Mr. Richard Jackson is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute in 1981 and was awarded the National Friendship Medal by the Chinese Government in 2007.
ROBERT K. WEILER
Robert K. Weiler is Executive Vice President of Oracle's Global Business Units. Previously he was Chairman and CEO of Phase Forward, a leading provider of integrated data management solutions for clinical trials and drug safety. Weiler has more than 30 years of technology-industry leadership experience, including his previous tenure as Giga Information Group's Chairman, President and CEO. Earlier in his career, Weiler served as President and CEO of Eastman Software (formerly Wang Software), as well as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, for Lotus Development Corporation, where he was instrumental in expanding the company's Lotus Notes business.
Weiler recently served on the board of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), and he previously served on the boards of the directors of the Waterville Valley Company, Saint Anselm's College, Corporate Software, Distributed Management Systems, Cullinet Software, Interleaf, DataLogix, and Giga Information Group. Weiler received a B.A. from Saint Anselm's College, where he additionally received an honorary doctorate in 2000. He received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2010 Award in the Healthcare IT category in New England. In 2006, he was named to the prestigious PharmaVOICE 100 list, and he was also named 2006 CEO of the Year by the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council, an award that honors individuals who best exemplify leadership and excellence in business and technology. Subsequent to this award, Weiler was invited to become a trustee of the Council.
Mr. S Venkatachalam has served Citibank N. A. and its Group for nearly 30 years and has held Senior Positions. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession. He has served as an advisor to Fullerton India Credit Corporation Ltd., a subsidiary of Temasek Holding (Private) Limited. Prior to Citibank, he served as a Consultant with A. F. Ferguson & Co., Chartered Accountants, Mumbai (now a part of Deloitte Haskins & Sells). He has been an independent Director of the State Bank of India (2008-2014) and has served several of their Committees.
Currently he is on the Board of few Company and Advisor to few Financial Services Companies. He has rich experience in the field of Banking, Finance, Administration, Compliance, Taxation and labour laws. He is well regarded in the financial services industry and by regulatory bodies.
Ms. Samantha Wellington is Managing Counsel for Oracle Corporation. Ms. Wellington has worked in Oracle's Australian, Asia Pacific, and global businesses and brings more than 10 years of technology-industry legal experience and expertise to her role at Oracle. Prior to her position at Oracle she was a Lawyer for the Australian Communications and Media Authority, statutory authority responsible for the regulation of broadcasting, the internet, radio communications and telecommunications and for FOXTEL, Australia's largest provider of subscription television services.
Ms. Wellington graduated from Australia's University of New South Wales with a LLM in Media, Communications, and Information Technology Law. She earlier received her LLB from the University of Wollongong and also holds a BCA from the University of Wollongong. Ms. Wellington is admitted to practice law in both New South Wales, Australia, and California, USA.
Mr. Sridhar Srinivasan is a Senior Advisor with Oliver Wyman, a leading global management consulting firm. He joined Oliver Wyman in early 2013 as a Partner and India Head. He works with CEOs, Boards of Directors and other senior leaders of top Financial Services companies in the region on topics such as Management Strategy, Risk Management, Client Coverage models, Product and Distribution strategies, Cost Optimisation, Governance and Regulatory Compliance.
Mr. Srinivasan has over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, he was Managing Director of Citigroup, based in London. He was with Citi for 28 years and has worked in 6 countries across Asia, Africa and Europe. Some of the leadership positions he held with Citibank included being CEO for three countries, Corporate Bank Head for India and Transaction Services Head for Africa. Mr. Srinivasan is a graduate of Delhi University and is also a Chartered Accountant.
