Execution

Hyosung FMS Inc. used Oracle Database 9i for over a decade. It was the first company in Korea to upgrade directly to Oracle Database 12c without incremental upgrades to Oracle Database 10g and 11g. After testing and verifying data loss for two months, Hyosung FMS Inc. successfully migrated to the new platform in just three months with less than one day of system downtime—which was 3x faster than an incremental upgrade.
