Brink’s Archive Storage Service Moves to Oracle Cloud

Brink’s is a secure logistics company that provides cash-in-transit services and money processing.

With operations spanning 55 countries, Brink’s chose Oracle Cloud to help streamline the processing and archiving of large amounts of sensitive client data while conforming to regulatory requirements.

As a cloud archive provider, you have to be able to handle the data at the rates I can generate it, keep it in an archive status at a price point I can afford, and provide on demand within the service-level times we need.

Flexagon Replatforms Application
Development Suite onto Oracle IaaS and PaaS

Flexagon delivers DevOps and application–release-automation solutions that help clients automate the software delivery lifecycle and improve the productivity and quality of software development.

Challenges

Flexagon’s developer customers need the ability to quickly provision and deprovision software-development environments. By adopting an elastic cloud infrastructure, Flexagon believed it would be able to offer lower-cost provisioning and enable its customers to accelerate development.

Solutions

Flexagon chose Oracle IaaS and Oracle PaaS as the foundation and framework for its solution. Flexagon’s customers appreciate both the rapid provisioning process and the company’s ability to continue to add features to its platform.

Flexagon is now able to incorporate custom FlexDeploy solutions with Oracle Java Cloud Service in just 15 minutes. On-demand customer provisioning as a service is now four times faster than previously.

Oracle Platform as a Service and Oracle Infrastructure as a Service were natural choices as far as moving to the cloud, and the move was easy. Our FlexDeploy solution is a Java-based application, so we moved it without any changes onto Oracle Java Cloud Service, and we were up and running in no time.

Skyhigh Networks is a leading Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) facilitating secure adoption of cloud-based services.

Challenges

As a fast-growing company, Skyhigh needed a way to help its new systems engineers immerse themselves in both Skyhigh’s own technologies and those commonly deployed by its customers. Skyhigh’s sales engineers needed to have a strong working knowledge of many different technologies to make integrations as simple as possible for customers.

Solutions

Skyhigh can now build complex environments from templates or from scratch, meaning that sales engineers can quickly get up to speed by deploying case-specific training templates, and seasoned engineers can create mock-ups of customer environments in almost no time. A cloud lab enables new sales engineers to build anything from simple proxy servers to complex security infrastructures.

Skyhigh for Shadow IT enables enterprises to detect more than 13,000 cloud services that employees may be using.

With Oracle Ravello Cloud Service, our engineers can have their own lab in the cloud, which allows them to learn new technologies and mock up customer use cases without having to contend for resources—in a cost-effective manner. This is phenomenal!
