- The Customer Portal is a web application framework and out-of-the-box web page set for managing and creating web experiences for your customers on any web browser. This includes personal computers, smartphones, simple browsers, and even custom embedded web browsers within devices. It provides a modern model-view-controller architecture with open standards along with prebuilt themes, templates, pages, and widgets that can be rearranged and branded to meet your requirements.
- Connect for PHP is a public API enabling customers and partners to build solutions with the Oracle RightNow CX platform. This API is primarily used by developers working within the Customer Portal framework who are looking to gain access to data and services hosted by the CX platform through a backward compatible API. Connect for PHP leverages the same data model and services as the Connect Web Services for SOAP API.
- The Connect Desktop Add-In Framework (.NET) provides a robust add-in framework for the agent desktop allowing integration developers to build custom .NET components, controls, and applications that live in the agent desktop and automate, extend, and integrate the agent desktop with other systems to create a unified business process.
- The Connect Desktop Integration (JavaScript) API allows developers to quickly integrate data contained on an agent workspace with data contained in a prebuilt web page contained in the agent workspace. This API should be used by those integration developers who do not require robust automation and extension in the agent desktop but do require data integration between a web application and an agent workspace.
- Connect Web Services For SOAP is an open and standards-based integration API enabling customers and partners to build integration solutions with Oracle RightNow CX that leverage industry leading standards such as WSDL 1.1 and SOAP 1.1. Connect Web Services for SOAP is our leading data integration API, providing broad out-of-the-box tooling support for a wide variety of languages, platforms, and tools.
- The Connect Knowledge Foundation API allows developers to leverage the power of the Oracle knowledgebase from any external application, device, or service where knowledge is needed. The API can also be used when customizing a web self-service experience through the Customer Portal framework. It gives developers the ability to search for content in the knowledgebase, rate content, obtain Smart Assistant recommendations, and even obtain the most popular answers in the knowledgebase.
- The Chat Consumer Interface API allows developers to create custom or embedded consumer-facing interfaces for Oracle RightNow Chat Cloud Service, completely eliminating the need to use the Chat consumer interface. This API can be leveraged for the development of native mobile applications, to embed chat within another application, or to integrate chat with web-enabled applications or devices.
- The Chat Third Party Queue Integration APIs are open and standards-based APIs that enable partners and customers to build integration solutions between Chat and third-party or universal routing and queuing platforms. This allows customers to use external systems to route and queue chats in order to extend the functionality of the routing platform or to include chat in a blended, multi-channel routing engine. This API leverages industry leading standards such as WSDL 1.1 and SOAP 1.1.
- The Multi-Channel Toolkit is a toolkit that enables customers and partners to create common multimedia experience for agents and administrators. The toolkit contains sample code, a reference media bar, and an emulator.
- The Connect Data Integration Toolkits are a set of client-side libraries that allow for data integration with the Oracle RightNow CX platform.
