The Oracle Database 11g Initiative provides unique opportunities to partners. By promoting members' solutions for Oracle Database 11g, Oracle provides to customers and partners the ability to leverage the ecosystem of partner solutions built around the latest Oracle Database technology. Following is a description of the opportunities* available through the Oracle Database 11g Initiative.

Showcase your Oracle Database 11g solution at events and in videos or podcasts

  • Eligible to apply to co-present with Oracle when specific opportunities come up
  • Eligible to apply for an executive video shoot
  • Opportunity to participate in an Oracle Podcast

Participate in Oracle Database 11g public relations activities & website listings

  • Listed in Oracle Press Releases or Quote Sheets as one of the partners supporting Oracle Database 11g
  • Eligible to include an Oracle quote in your press release
  • Listed in Oracle Database 11g Solutions Catalog on Oracle websites

Highlight customer success stories and service or solution offerings in Oracle publications

*Note: Additional requirements, applications, and/or costs are associated with some of the opportunities listed above. BENEFITS

Benefits of the Oracle Database 11g Initiative vary according to level of participation. Partners may simply sign up for the initiative and have their solution highlighted as one that supports Oracle Database 11g. As partners decide to increase participation, they may choose to increase their presence at Oracle events, promote successful implementations of Oracle Database 11g, advertise solutions, and/or participate in the Beta Program for the next release of Oracle Database. Members of the Oracle Database 11g Initiative receive exclusive access to the opportunities described above, plus continued access to the tools and resources already available through the Oracle Database Product Focus Dashboard.

REQUIREMENTS

To participate in the Oracle Database 11g Initiative, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an Oracle PartnerNetwork member in good standing.
  • Be a member of the Oracle Database Product Focus (To determine this, log into the Oracle PartnerNetwork Portal, go to the Engage with Oracle page. If you see a link to "Oracle Database" in My Company Initiatives, you are already a member of the Product Focus. If you do not see this link, contact your company's OPN Primary Administrator to ensure that the Oracle Database Product Focus is selected in your profile.)
  • Have a published profile on Oracle PartnerNetwork Solutions Catalog (To determine whether you have a published OPN Solutions Catalog, go to this link and perform a search on your company. If you do not have a published OPN Solutions Catalog, click here for instructions on how to create one.)
  • Complete the application and be accepted

  • Meet the Requirements? If you would like to apply to join the Oracle Database 11g Initiative please click here and complete the enrollment form. You will then be informed of authorization to access the Oracle Database 11g Initiative Dashboard once you are accepted by Oracle.
