    Oracle Exastack Ready for IHVs recognizes qualifying OPN members who are building, selling and supporting their server, system and/or hardware component products on the latest major releases of Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux and/or Oracle VM. Oracle Exastack Ready also provides these OPN members with corresponding branding, marketing and related benefits that can be used to effectively differentiate and promote their respective hardware products.

    Once OPN members have achieved an Oracle Exastack Ready status, they may display the corresponding logos (Oracle Solaris Ready, Oracle Linux Ready and/or Oracle VM Ready) to show that they sell and support their hardware products on the latest major releases of Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux and/or Oracle VM.

    Recognition from Customers
    The Oracle Exastack Ready program helps customers readily identify hardware products that are supported on the latest major release (PDF) of Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux, and/or Oracle VM.

    Recognition from Oracle
    Oracle sales teams recognize partners who invest time and resources to build, sell and support their hardware products on the latest major release (PDF) of Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux and/or Oracle VM and achieve an Oracle Exastack Ready status.

    Attain Platinum Level in OPN
    OPN members can leverage their Oracle Exastack Ready applications to help meet certain requirements to qualify for Platinum level in the OPN program.

  • Benefits: Oracle Exastack Ready for Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs)

    Oracle Exastack Ready provides OPN members with competitive differentiation through access to product-specific logos and related promotional opportunities. Qualifying OPN members receive additional benefits as follows:

    • Formal recognition from Oracle and brand awareness for hardware products  with product relevant logos, including Oracle Solaris Ready, Oracle Linux Ready, Oracle VM Ready.
    • Opportunity to differentiate and promote their hardware products through partner-issued press release and collateral announcing their attainment of Oracle Solaris Ready, Oracle Linux Ready or Oracle VM Ready status.
    • Create brand awareness by marketing hardware products with the Oracle Solaris Ready, Oracle Linux Ready and/or Oracle VM Ready logos.
    • Obtain technical assistance and device driver development support.
    • Hardware products that meet Oracle Solaris HCL or Oracle Linux and Oracle VM HCL requirements will have special notation to distinguish Oracle Solaris Ready, Oracle Linux Ready and Oracle VM Ready products from other products on the Oracle Solaris HCL or Oracle Linux and Oracle VM HCL.
    • Access to the same set of OPN program benefits available to partners who have achieved Specialization.
    • Count Ready hardware products toward program requirements to attain Platinum or Diamond level OPN membership, considered equivalent to Specialization.
      • 5 Oracle Exastack Ready products for Platinum or any combination of Ready products, or Specializations totaling a minimum of 5.
      • Maximum of 5 Oracle Exastack Ready products counted toward Diamond.
    • Preferred search listing in the OPN Solutions Catalog (including advanced search capability for sorting / filtering for Oracle Exastack Ready).

  • Eligibility Criteria: Oracle Exastack Ready for Independent Hardware Vendors (IHVs)

    • You must have an active OPN membership at Gold level or higher.
    • You must have membership in the applicable OPN Knowledge Zones (Oracle Solaris, Oracle Linux, Oracle Server Virtualization (VM)). We recommend that at least one employee declares an interest in the applicable Knowledge Zone for the purposes of receiving communications.
    • Your PRM Administrator must complete the Oracle Exastack Ready for IHVs online application.
    • You must provide an active URL that describes your hardware product.
    • You must provide an active URL that describes your product warranty and technical support information.
    • Your hardware product must be generally commercially available to commercial customers.
    • You must publish a commercial price for your hardware product on your standard price list or price schedule.
    • You must successfully run either the Oracle Solaris Hardware Compatibility Test Suite (HCTS) or the Oracle Linux and Oracle VM HCL Test Suite (PDF) to ensure compliance. Approved Oracle Exastack Ready IHV products will be listed on the Oracle Solaris HCL or Oracle Linux and Oracle VM HCL (if they also meet the separate HCL requirements), with special notation to highlight your achievement of Oracle Solaris Ready, Oracle Linux Ready and Oracle VM Ready status and distinguish your product from other products on the HCL.
    • You must provide ongoing professional technical support services for your customers. To best resolve customer issues, it is highly recommended, but not required, that OPN members complete MVSP Support Training Guided Learning Path (GLP) and OCVS (Oracle Collaborative Vendor Support Program) membership.
    • You must regularly release new updates of your hardware product and/or new version releases of your product to your customers to whom you provide technical support.
    • You must keep your Ready hardware products current within 12 months of GA dates for major releases of same Oracle products.
    • You must comply with Oracle APIs (DDI/DKI for drivers) – Solaris only. 
    • You must comply with approved Oracle Linux kernels – Linux only.
    • We recommend that your PRM administrator publish a current OPN Solutions Catalog profile for the OPN member's company and a solution profile describing your Ready hardware product. Click here to view your current profile.
    • Upon approval for Oracle Exastack Ready status, we strongly recommend that you add the corresponding logo(s) (Oracle Solaris Ready, Oracle Linux Ready, Oracle VM Ready) to your product website and collateral.

    The following partner products are NOT eligible to participate in Oracle Exastack Ready for IHVs:

    1. Download the applicable Oracle Exastack Ready logo(s) and update your product website and collateral.
    2. Maximize your Visibility: Issue an Oracle Exastack Ready Press Release:
      • Contact oracleexastack_ww@oracle.com for the latest press release template.
      • Oracle will publish your press release announcement in various internal and customer facing newsletters.
      • Be sure to send the URL where your press release is published to OracleExastack_ww@oracle.com and update your solutions catalog profile with your press release.
    3. Expand your visibility through the OPN Solutions Catalog profile. To update your solution profile, please select Manage your OPN Solution Catalog Profile (located on the lower right hand side of the page). Email alexandra.guta@oracle.com should you need assistance.
      • OPN PRM Administrators can:
        • Add a link to your Oracle Exastack Ready press release
        • Upload YouTube Videos about your hardware products, Solutions and profiles
