The Oracle Tuxedo Plug-in for Oracle Solaris Studio 12.3 adds Oracle Tuxedo development support to the Oracle Solaris Studio 12.3 IDE.

Oracle Tuxedo is the only open, robust platform to help you develop, deploy, and run mission-critical, C/C++/COBOL applications on a traditional data center infrastructure, an engineered system such as Oracle Exalogic, and your enterprise cloud.

This plug-in enables you to use the Oracle Solaris Studio IDE with Oracle Tuxedo to simplify the development of C and C++ applications for Oracle Tuxedo 12c on Solaris and Linux. Primary features include:
  • Support for developing Tuxedo applications using ATMI and SCA programming models
  • Creation of Tuxedo application projects including server, component, and client sub-projects
  • Automatic generation and maintenance of application metadata files
  • Debugging of servers and services
  • Increased developer productivity through intelligent language aware code editor, code completion, code folding, syntax highlighting and much more
