Oracle VM Templates

MySQL 5.5, Enterprise Edition (x86 64-bit)

The Oracle VM Template enables rapid deployment and eliminates manual configuration efforts and risks by providing a pre-installed and pre-configured virtualized MySQL 5.5 Enterprise Edition software image running on Oracle Linux and Oracle VM, certified for production use. 

The Oracle VM Template for MySQL Enterprise comprises the following components:
  • MySQL Database 5.5.10 (Enterprise Edition)
  • Oracle Linux 5 update 6 with the Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel (UEK)
 

Oracle Software Delivery Cloud Instructions:
Visit http://edelivery.oracle.com/oraclevm
Complete your registration information (Name, Company Name, Email Address and Country) and click on the download agreement
Select "Oracle VM Templates" from the "Select a Product Pack" pull-down menu
Select "x86 64 bit" from the "Platform" pull-down menu
Click "Go" and then select MySQL from the list of Oracle VM Templates
Download and unzip the files and read the readme

To download MySQL Enterprise Monitor, MySQL Enterprise Backup and MySQL Workbench, go to https://edelivery.oracle.com and select "MySQL Database" as the Product Pack.

For large downloads, or for functionality such as download resuming, the use of a download manager is highly recommended.
