Global leader in water management and environmental engineering solutions leverages the power of the suite to accelerate decision-making and enhance efficiency
TOKYO, Japan—August 14, 2025Kubota Corporation, a global leader in innovative solutions for food, water, and the environment, is using Oracle NetSuite to support its mission of providing products and services that ensure clean water and a sustainable environment for humanity. With NetSuite, Kubota’s water and environment business in Southeast Asia can take advantage of an integrated suite to help accelerate business processes and improve efficiency.
Founded in 1890, Kubota initially specialized in manufacturing and selling cast metal products, but has since expanded its business to include engines, construction and agricultural machinery, weighing and measuring control systems, and water and environment solutions in more than 120 countries around the world. As Kubota expanded its water infrastructure business in Southeast Asia, it needed to replace its manual, spreadsheet-based processes to improve business visibility, and increase operational efficiency. After careful evaluation, Kubota decided to implement NetSuite’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system in its water and environment subsidiaries in Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
“To support the expansion of our water and environment business, we needed to move business processes to a single system in order to strengthen internal controls, enhance efficiency, and improve decision-making,” said Shogo Nariya, who is in ASEAN Regional Business Management department, International Water and Environmental Infrastructure Planning and Sales Headquarters, Kubota Corporation. “With NetSuite, we have been able to reduce human errors, streamline duplicated operations, and easily access key indicators. Moreover, NetSuite complies with ISO27001 and ISO27018, and we are satisfied with its high security standards.”
With NetSuite, Kubota has been able to manage operations related to accounting, purchase, inventory, sales, and construction project management on a single platform. In addition, NetSuite OneWorld has improved Kubota’s ability to quickly comply with local regulations and reporting requirements, and efficiently manage its international multicurrency and multilingual business.
“Global business expansion requires flexible systems that can adapt to the unique requirements of each country while providing a global view of the business,” said Yuki Shibuya, vice president and Japan country manager, Oracle NetSuite. “Kubota can take advantage of NetSuite’s global expertise and embedded AI innovations to help accelerate financial operations, enhance decision-making, and fast-track growth across Southeast Asia.”
In food, water, and the environment area, the Kubota Group promises to continue supporting the prosperous life of humans while protecting the environment of this beautiful earth.
