Geisel Privathotels is comprised of four hotels—soon to be five—ranging from 5-star luxury property to hybrid hotel with suites for business travelers and affordable rates for backpackers. The Group’s concept is rounded off with four restaurants—from international Michelin-star cuisine to street food style—and a retail wine gallery. Price and quality-conscious guests feel as much at home as do discerning business travelers and international guests with the highest expectations. These expectations can only be met with a powerful software suite to manage and provision the group’s various services.

  • Connect newly opened hotels and restaurants with varying requirements to Oracle Hospitality Suite8, which has been used for years, to efficiently control workflow, provide management with detailed overviews, and guarantee guests a first-class customer experience
  • Utilize synergies and provide personalized service to regular guests at all establishments by enabling smooth data exchange between all corporate divisions
  • Fulfill special requirements, such as the complete and individual processing of vouchers, the separate renting of individual beds in multi-bed rooms, and changing guest requirements, through the hotel software
  • Gain the ability to produce detailed reports about individual corporate divisions and the company as a whole to support strategic planning and decision making
  • Ensure system expansions and the addition of new corporate divisions are possible at any time without impairing the customer experience or interrupting daily business activities

  • Gained the ability to add new properties and new modules at any time thanks to the flexible, modular structure of Oracle Hospitality Suite8, avoiding any system disruptions and ensuring the guests’ customer experience
  • Benefitted from the performance and intuitive operation of Oracle Hospitality Suite8, greatly reducing the outlay for training because the majority of newly hired employees already learned how to use the software during their vocational training or with another employer
  • Simplified and accelerated the creation of invoices, such as automatically printing invoices with the names and addresses of the respective guests or companies, or enabling guests to add charges from any Geisel restaurant to their room invoices—even if that restaurant does not belong to their particular Geisel hotel
  • Anticipated the usage of Oracle Hospitality Suite8 for bed management at the new hotel SCHWABINGER WAHRHEIT, which will allow the company to handle both the hotel’s business suites as well as the renting of individual beds and bunks in multi-bed rooms through one system

Geisel Privathotels has roots back to 1900 when the family operated the Löwenbräu tent on Munich’s Oktoberfest, and remains a family-owned hotel group to this day. The group’s properties consist of the first-class hotels Königshof and Excelsior, the luxury town residence BEYOND, the designer hotel Anna, several gourmet restaurants, as well as a wine estate and an exclusive wine retailer, among others. Geisel Privathotels is run by the fourth generation of the family—brothers Carl, Michael, and Stephan Geisel. The Königshof Hotel restaurant and the ‘Werneckhof by Geisel’ restaurant are both holders of Michelin stars.
