Business challenges
Founded in 1984, Pintulac is a home improvement chain based in Ecuador. It offers a range of products including paints, hardware, machinery, and tools. It employs roughly 800 staff in 61 stores across 16 cities in the country.
As a multichannel retailer with operations both online and in-store, the company needed to find a better system for keeping employees updated on the latest products, processes, and prices. In addition, Pintulac wanted to give employees more training options to sharpen their customer service skills.
In addition, the company sought a product that would help it select employee profiles according to the needs of each position and include traceability to develop a career plan for each staffer. It also wanted the ability to train its sales force from anywhere, at any time.
