Simon de Montfort Walker

Simon de Montfort Walker is the executive vice president of Central Industry Solutions and Embedded Finance. He’s responsible for the company’s cross-industry consumer payments business, shared industry infrastructure, support, development, and innovation initiatives to drive digital transformation.

Since joining Oracle in 2018 as senior vice president of Oracle Food and Beverage, Simon has led significant efforts to reestablish the company’s market leadership in restaurant point-of-sale systems and drive the organization’s transformation with comprehensive end-to-end technology solutions.

With more than 20 years of experience in the software and technology sectors, Simon has a track record of success in software sales, strategy, and execution for both public and private companies.

Prior to Oracle, he served as the chief technology officer and president of eGate Solutions at gategroup, with a focus on hospitality, supply chain, and solutions for supporting end customer services. He has also held leadership roles in several technology firms and led operational efforts for technology companies in travel, banking, insurance, and hospitality.

Simon holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Kings College and a master’s degree with honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
