Oracle Database services running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure are deployed directly in Microsoft Azure datacenters

Oracle and Microsoft are now offering Oracle Database@Azure to customers in Southeast Asia. With the services’ debut in the Microsoft Azure Southeast Asia region, customers gain all the performance, resiliency, security, scale, and workload availability advantages of Oracle Database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) combined with Azure’s enterprise-grade solutions for AI, analytics, security, and applications to unlock innovation and agility. To meet rapidly growing global demand, Oracle and Microsoft continue to make Oracle Database@Azure available in more regions across the world and add new services. Oracle Database@Azure is now available in 13 regions, with 19 more planned.
Customers have the ability to deploy their Oracle Database services alongside Azure services natively from the same physical datacenters, including support for Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database, both running Real Application Clusters on Oracle Exadata. Oracle and Microsoft’s joint support model provides rapid response and resolution for mission-critical workloads.
Oracle Database@Azure is now available in 13 regions—Australia East, Brazil South, Canada Central, Central US, East US, France Central, Germany West Central, Italy North, Japan East, Southeast Asia, UK South, UK West, and West US.
In addition, the service is planned to be available in 19 more regions. This includes Australia Southeast, Brazil Southeast, Canada East, Central India, East US 2, France South, Japan West, Germany North, North Central US, North Europe, South Central US, South India, Spain Central, Sweden Central, UAE Central, UAE North, West Europe, West US 2, and West US 3.

Customers can purchase Oracle Database@Azure through the Azure Marketplace. They can use existing Azure commitments and discount programs, and their Oracle license benefits such as Bring Your Own License (BYOL) and Oracle Support Rewards. Oracle Exadata Database Service, Oracle Autonomous Database, and Oracle Database Zero Data Loss Autonomous Recovery Service are available with custom quotes via private offer. Oracle Autonomous Database is also available as pay-as-you-go, giving customers the flexibility to deploy a fully managed database in minutes.
