Amplifon Cuts Invoice Backlog and Boosts Efficiencies with the help of Oracle AI

AI features embedded in Oracle ERP can be put to work out of the box after activation. Amplifon is using AI to help clear invoice backlogs, enabling employees to focus on more value-adding and strategic tasks.

One feature being used is called Intelligent Document Recognition, and it’s helped remove a bottleneck of invoices from Amplifon stores around the world. Bills are now visible on Amplifon’s ERP platform and controlled from a central dashboard which helps improve transparency and planning.

This AI feature has been particularly effective in helping to cut the number of paper bills and scanned invoices that weren’t assigned to purchase orders in the system and instead languished in clogged email inboxes.

Instead of paper invoices, Amplifon is now importing from mailboxes to Oracle applications, suppliers’ documents directly arrive to the ERP solution and, the company’s HQs can centrally monitor whether countries are experiencing a backlog.
