Support for on-premises and cloud

Choice of deployment

Oracle Webcenter Content runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) the same way it runs on-premises in any data center. There are two options to deploy Oracle WebCenter Content on OCI. You can use OCI’s Compute, storage, and virtual network capabilities to run the application and database tier, or you can use those capabilities to just run the application tier alongside and OCI, Exadata, or Autonomous database system to run your database tier.

Certified cloud services

Oracle WebCenter Content is certified with multiple cloud services, including Oracle Autonomous Database Certification, Oracle Identity Cloud Service, and Oracle ObjectStorage (File Store).

Deployment on Kubernetes

Run a containerized WebCenter Content Cluster via Kubernetes for better application manageability. Using Kubernetes, customers can deploy on-premise and in the cloud (OCI) and migrate between both deployments easily. It also allows for zero downtime patching, and you can easily monitor your application’s health, generate dashboards and reports using tools like Kibana and Prometheus/Grafana.
