The Oracle Database 19c Certified Master Exam (OCM) credential is the industry's most advanced Database Administrator certification. This exam is based on Oracle Database 19c Release (Module 1-3: 19.3.0.0.0 - 64-bit, Module 4: 19.15.0.0.0 - 64-bit) and includes the use of Oracle Real Application Clusters (Oracle RAC). The operating system is Oracle Linux Release 7.9 (64-bit).
Obtaining the Oracle Certified Master credential requires passing an onsite practical exam that is conducted at designated Oracle facilities in each global region. You will be tested on your ability to perform database administration tasks in a live database environment. Skill sets are timed and require a high degree of Oracle database knowledge to successfully complete them.
We highly recommend that you have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator. 5 years or more is more typical of qualified candidates.
Courses can be instructor-led in-class (ILT), a live virtual class (LVC), or Learning Subscription. Self-study courses (labeled as 'Self-Study' in the course format) are great preparation tools, but do not fulfill the training requirement. Course must be delivered by Oracle Training Center or Oracle Workforce Development Program.
