Oracle Volunteers team up with Going to School

When the pandemic forced schools to close across India, many children didn’t have the tools necessary for online learning. To keep children learning, Oracle Volunteers teamed up with nonprofit Going to School to bring their SchoolTV program to life.

“The Oracle Volunteering program gave me an opportunity during the pandemic to support kids in rural India who could neither attend school nor had the technology to learn virtually. I was happy to lead a project to create educational videos on a variety of subjects, and I am eager to continue volunteering in the future.”

—Krishna Shah, Software Developer, Oracle, Bengaluru, India
