All year long, Oracle Volunteers in India act on their desire to help people and the planet, undertaking 325 projects in FY20 alone. Our employees in India are among the most passionate and dedicated communities of Oracle Volunteers, donating thousands of hours each year to projects close to their hearts.
When the pandemic forced schools to close across India, many children didn’t have the tools necessary for online learning. To keep children learning, Oracle Volunteers teamed up with nonprofit Going to School to bring their SchoolTV program to life.
“The Oracle Volunteering program gave me an opportunity during the pandemic to support kids in rural India who could neither attend school nor had the technology to learn virtually.
