Oracle Java Verified Portfolio Roadmap

Oracle provides this Oracle Java Verified Portfolio (JVP) Roadmap, to help you understand maintenance, support options, and related timelines for features included in the portfolio.

JavaFX

Oracle has reintroduced support for JavaFX following the Premier Support timeline for corresponding new Oracle JDK versions.   Oracle also supports some existing Oracle JDK LTS releases including JDK 8 for a limited period.

JavaFX support is included at no additional charge to Oracle Customers as defined in the Oracle Java SE Support Roadmap. JavaFX will be available under the same license as the corresponding Oracle JDK.

Oracle Java Platform Extension for Visual Studio Code

Oracle provides the Java Platform for VS Code under open-source terms and community support via our public repository without any service level agreement or guarantees. All users are encouraged to use the community support channel for any questions or issues. Oracle Customers receive Oracle Support for the Java Platform for VS Code via My Oracle Support. 

The Java Platform for VS Code tool has a different lifecycle from Oracle products. Support is limited to the timeframes that Oracle provides releases and updates of the tool, which may change or be withdrawn at any time. Any patches and fixes that Oracle makes available will be made through the Oracle designated community channel(s) for the tool.
