Richard Petley is the UK Country Leader and Technology Regional vice president, UK, Ireland and Israel. He is responsible for managing the teams in charge of the commercialization of Oracle Cloud solutions in PaaS and IaaS, and specialized solutions in analytics and security.
Petley has been with Oracle since March 2018 having joined from IBM, where he served as vice president of Cognitive and Industry Solutions. He previously led IBM’s software business in the UK and Ireland and the WebSphere group in Europe. Petley has worked in software sales, consultancy and management for over 15 years.
Petley holds an MBA from Henley Management School and a degree in English Literature from The University of Leeds.
