GTPL, the largest multisystem operator in India, provides digital cable TV services as well as private wireline broadband service. The company wanted to migrate its on-premises custom billing, operations, and customer service applications on Oracle Exadata Database to the cloud, with the goal of simplifying operations and reducing administration. In partnership with BeyonData Solutions, GTPL seamlessly migrated to Oracle Exadata Database Service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) with automation and monitoring that simplified data management and minimized manual intervention. As a result, GTPL saw a dramatic reduction in provisioning time—from weeks to only two days—and a 60% average reporting query performance increase, which. helped deliver a better customer experience.
