Primavera Cloud Roundup - July 2026

In this issue, we'll highlight features released in Oracle Primavera Cloud from April 2026 - June 2026.

Risk visibility

We improved risk visibility:

  • On the Activities page, we added Risk NamesRisk IDs, and Risk Assigned Count fields to help you identify and track activities that have assigned risks.
  • In the Risk Register, you can use the Impacted Activities and Impacted Activities Count columns to more easily view impacted activities for your risks.
  • Additionally, you can customize views for risk distribution results, enabling more efficient risk analysis.

Filtering activities

  • You can now filter project activities using date variance and baseline variance fields on the Activities page to better analyze missed start and finish dates.
  • Support for both negative and positive values enables more precise analysis and timeline comparisons against your baselines, helping teams gain deeper visibility into project performance.

Budget Planning updates

  • The Budget Planning page has been updated to increase useability.
  • We consolidated the page header, made the planning period selector more prominent, organized the layout menu by project and program options, and more.

Settings improvements

  • You can now configure default Schedule Health Check settings at the workspace level.
  • In Global Admin, you can now configure default permissions for object creators in Application Settings.
  • We expanded earned value settings, so you can choose additional methods for predicting the cost and effort required to finish the remaining work.

Noteworthy mentions

  • To save time and reduce errors, you can configure a project workflow to automatically calculate project financials, like net present value.
  • Project dashboards now include Role Usage and Activities Usage charts, providing insights into role allocation and project activity trends over time.
  • You can now add resource usage charts to project dashboards to monitor resource unit or cost allocations over time.
