The big differentiator for us when choosing Oracle Health’s Clinical AI Agent is it’s truly integrated with our electronic health record workflow. This integration opens the avenue for rapid advancement of the product because it’s using native EHR technology.

Beacon Health System is a locally owned, not-for-profit health system headquartered in South Bend, Indiana, serving communities in Indiana and Michigan. Like many providers, Beacon Health physicians risked burnout due to extensive administrative tasks, highlighting the critical need for new tools to help deliver care while achieving the organization’s financial goals. In 2024, Beacon Health implemented Oracle Health Clinical AI Agent on physician phones and desktops. The digital assistant generated a draft clinical note for the physician’s review and sign-off. Oracle Clinical AI Agent is an AI voice assistant that uses ambient scribe software to record physician-patient encounters and draft notes directly into Oracle Health EHR, which physicians then review. After its implementation, Beacon Health providers more than half of the time saved an average of 35 minutes per day, based on the number of patients seen. This translated to a 7% decrease in average active time per patient when comparing pre- versus post-go-live data.1
