Oracle Cloud Turin Region will enable more organizations in Italy to take advantage of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to accelerate AI innovation and enhance business resilience
Milan, Italy—November 19, 2025
Oracle is opening its second public cloud region in Italy to meet the rapidly growing demand for its AI and cloud services. Located in Turin, the new cloud region will enable more enterprises, startups, and public sector organizations in Italy to take advantage of Oracle’s industry-leading AI and cloud computing services, including the latest generative AI and multicloud capabilities. TIM Enterprise (TIM Group) is the host partner for the new cloud region.
Part of Oracle’s distributed cloud strategy, the Oracle Cloud Turin Region will provide public and private sector organizations access to a wide range of AI and cloud services to migrate all types of workloads from their data centers to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), modernize their applications, and innovate with data, analytics, and AI. In addition, OCI’s sovereign capabilities help ensure that data remains within borders, enabling customers in regulated, public, or government sectors to meet data sovereignty and other regulatory requirements.
“Oracle is driving one of the fastest cloud infrastructure expansions in Italy to help our customers quickly and easily adopt the latest AI and cloud services,” said Andrea Sinopoli, vice president, Cloud Technology country leader, Oracle Italy. “The opening of our second cloud region in Italy reaffirms our commitment to helping organizations in Italy of all sizes and across every industry innovate with AI to boost business resilience and growth.”
The new Oracle Cloud Turin Region marks a significant expansion of Oracle’s AI infrastructure capacity in Italy. It builds on the existing Oracle Cloud Milan Region and will help organizations across key industries in Italy—including design, retail, advanced manufacturing, automotive, and pharmaceuticals—take advantage of the latest AI innovations such as OCI AI Agent Platform, OCI Generative AI Service, and Oracle AI Data Platform. In addition, it will enable even more members of Italy’s AI startup and investor community to gain access to OCI’s industry-leading infrastructure for AI training and inferencing.
Oracle is uniquely placed to help customers in Italy address a variety of data privacy, sovereign AI, and low latency requirements as it is the only hyperscaler that can deliver more than 200 AI and cloud services at the edge, in a customer’s datacenter, across clouds, or in the public cloud. With more than 200 cloud regions live and planned globally, customers can choose the deployment model that best fits their business needs without compromising performance, governance, or compatibility with the public OCI experience.
In addition to its public cloud regions in Milan and Turin, Oracle supports an Oracle Alloy region for Polo Strategico Nazionale (PSN) to deliver hyperscale cloud and AI services to the Italian government.
