  • How much does Oracle OpenWorld cost?

    The registration fee varies on when you register and what type of registration pass you purchase. For registration information please visit our registration page.

What to Know for Onsite

  • Is there a mobile app?

    Yes, there will be a mobile app available to download after September 27, 2017. Stay connected during Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne so that you don't miss anything. Download the Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne San Francisco apps via the Apple App Store or Google Play.

  • Where can I find agenda details?

    A schedule of events can be found on the Mobile apps or via Oracle OpenWorld or JavaOne websites.

  • I have special dietary needs. Will meals be provided to accommodate my needs at the event?

    Yes. Oracle will offer specially prepared meals for attendees with dietary restrictions and we will do our best to fulfill every appeal that diverges from standard special needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten/dairy-free, etc.). Special meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and some meals may be limited in quantity. When you arrive in the lunch area onsite make your request known to a server and they will review available dietary options. Please see the Registration or Information desks onsite for further details.

  • Whom should I contact if I require special assistance (wheelchair or other special access, hearing impaired, sight impaired)?

    Oracle has information for details and resources for special needs in the Terms and Conditions document. If you need additional information, please contact the Oracle help desk for assistance (details below).

  • Will I need to wear my badge at Oracle OpenWorld or JavaOne?

    Yes, you will need to wear your badge at all times. Your badge cannot be given to or shared with another attendee or the badge will be confiscated and you will be asked to leave the event.

    If you have access to CloudFest.17 (formerly the Oracle Appreciation Event), you will be given a wristband at Materials Pick-up onsite that must be worn the event.

    If you lose your badge while onsite, visit any of the registration desks for assistance. There will be a US$75 fee to print a replacement badge.

  • What is the best way to get from the airport to San Francisco?

    Visit the Hotel and Transportation page to view options to get to and from SFO.

  • Is there shuttle service provided for the event?

    You can find Hotel Shuttle service from hotels within the Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne block to Moscone Conference Center. View the Oracle OpenWorld 2017 hotel shuttle schedule here.

  • How can I find out where my hotel is located?

    To find the location of your hotel, view the interactive map.

  • I am not familiar with San Francisco. Where can I get information for my visit?

    Please visit the official city of San Francisco website San Francisco Travel and find Local Public transportation information here.

  • When and where can I check-in and retrieve my badge?

    You may pick up your badge and check-in at the main registration located at Moscone South, 747 Howard St. San Francisco, CA 94103. Directions to Moscone South are here.

    Registration hours are as follows:

    Saturday, September 30: 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
    Sunday, October 1: 9:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
    Monday, October 2: 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
    Tuesday, October 3: 8:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
    Wednesday, October 4: 8:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

  • Can I still register or can I register at the event?

    Attendees can register now for Oracle OpenWorld or JavaOne and you can also register onsite starting September 30, but will be required to pay the full conference fee of US$2,650 via cash, company check, or credit card. Please go to the Changes/Cashier desk located at the main registration area located at Moscone South. If you received a discount or complimentary code, please bring a copy of your evite with you. If you are a government employee you will need to verify Oracle compliance onsite.

  • If I am eligible for an attendee badge or access to CloudFest.17 (formerly the Oracle Appreciation Event), where do I go to pick these up?

    You may pick up your attendee bag and/or CloudFest.17 wristband at Materials Pick-up in the lower level of Moscone South, just outside the entrance to the Exchange.

  • Can I add an upgrade or additional passes onsite?

    To add an additional package to your current registration onsite you will need to speak to the Changes/Cashier desk at the Oracle OpenWorld and JavaOne main registration area in Moscone South. Fees will apply for upgrades.

  • Can I substitute someone else to use my registration onsite?

    Substitutions will be allowed onsite but will incur a US$100 processing fee. Attendees must bring proof of substitution from original attendee and proceed to the Changes/Cashier desk to process the request. Substitutions will not be granted to customers with discounts or complimentary passes.

  • What methods of payment are accepted onsite for conference registration and add-on packages?

    Payment can be provided at the time of registration. Accepted payment methods include:
    - Credit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa)
    - Cash
    - Company Issued Check
