Simon is responsible for the Oracle ISV business development and strategy in the EMEA Region.
In this role, he focuses on creating Partnerships and Ecosystems with Oracle's ISV community; accelerating ISVs' transition to Oracle cloud and joint net new customer wins. Simon leads the EMEA ISV Business Development business focused on digital transformational innovation through Oracle Cloud Migration, Industry Focus and joint Go-to-Market with ISV solutions to meet customer business needs.
With 25+ years in the technology sector, Simon has spent much of his career in end user and partner sales and leadership roles but started his career as an Accountant. He has previously held positions at Hewlett-Packard, Dell and Sun Microsystems. Simon joined Oracle 8 years ago and has held roles in Oracle Customer Services and Oracle Alliances and Channels.
Javier Torres is vice president of Alliances and Channels and ISVs in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and Asia Pacific and Japan. He is responsible for driving all license, hardware, and cloud business conducted through partners across these regions.
Torres has a strong background in and passion for strategic thinking, change management, and corporate strategy. He is focused on helping drive digital transformation and the transition to cloud technologies through the extensive Oracle Partner Network.
Torres joined Oracle in 2012 as business operations and demand generation leader for Iberia. He moved on to lead the EMEA business operations organization in 2015 before taking up his current role in 2018. Prior to joining Oracle, he was an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company.
Based in Madrid, Torres holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in the US, a master’s degree in mathematics from UNED, and another in engineering and telecommunications from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, both in Spain.
Torres is also president of the MIT Club of Spain.
After working 20 years in the Oracle product development organization, Regis is now responsible for driving strategy awareness and adoption of Oracle Cloud Platform with the largest enterprises in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
His organization serves as a spokesperson and conduit to Oracle OCI engineering for the regional ecosystem with a responsibility spanning multiple product and solution areas covered by the Oracle Cloud Platform portfolio, including Core Infrastructure, Cloud Native Application Development, Data Management, Integration, Security, Analytics and many other related emerging Cloud technologies.
Regis Louis joined Oracle in 1994 and has held multiple positions as an architect in the field and in product development, both in France and in the United States at Oracle Headquarters. Regis holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration, and a master’s degree in computer science.
Karan Batta is Global Vice President of Engineering at Oracle. In this capacity, Karanruns product management at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for Hardware across OCI and HPC. Karan leads vision and product roadmap for compute infrastructure components and hardware. Karan regularly speaks at conferences and user-groups worldwide such as GPU Technology Conference, Super Computing & Siggraph. Previously Karan was leading accelerated hardware and infrastructure development for major public cloud providers and successful startups.
With more than 30 years of experience leading global sales, marketing, and professional services organizations in the software industry, Dave Profozich leads Oracle’s ISV Ecosystem with emphasis on recruiting the world’s leading SaaS and Cloud Platform providers to Oracle Cloud while also partnering with them to enable joint success plus enterprise scale.
Before taking on his current role, Mr. Profozich led Oracle’s Enterprise Division with emphasis on serving Oracle’s Fortune 500 clients and he previously led Oracle’s Emerging Growth businesses across North America including Security, Big Data, Mobility, and Manageability.
David Hicks is Vice President, ISV Worldwide Business Development and Marketing for Oracle.
In this capacity, he is responsible for driving Oracle Public Cloud and software product adoption and certifications in the partner community. David also leads marketing focused on awareness, demand generation and go to market activities with partners.
David joined Oracle in 2006 and prior to working in his current capacity, he was responsible for Strategic ISV Sales and Strategic Global Partner Account Management.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. He has worked in the IT industry for more than 25 years.
