Configuration comparisons are used to highlight the similarities and differences of configuration between two components or sets of components.
Configuration reports can be carried out on a single component present in a project in Director, such as a result book, or a group of components, such as all the processes in a project, or on whole projects.
In order for a configuration comparison to be carried out, the two components must be of the same type. That is, you can compare a process with another process, but not with a data store, or a results book, or with a project.
