Oracle offers a comprehensive benefits plan, called OracleFLEX, that provides basic benefits and then enables eligible employees to choose coverage levels and additional benefits that best meet their needs and those of their eligible dependents. ORACLEFLEX BENEFITS

What's Unique about OracleFLEX?
OracleFLEX is a "cafeteria-style" benefits plan that gives you more choices and greater flexibility than traditional health and insurance benefits plans. It allows you to design a custom benefits package for your unique situation. You are awarded flex credits that you can use to purchase benefits, so you can control the amount you spend on each benefit option, depending on your needs. If you have remaining credits, you may direct them toward taxable income or to your 401(k) savings plan, health care reimbursement, or dependent care reimbursement accounts.

  • PeopleSoft eDevelopment enables employees to create, modify and view person profiles reflecting their capabilities and accomplishments.
  • Allow employees to search for jobs that match well to their own skills and qualifications, or compare various positions of interest to them and identify jobs that are of interest to them.
  • Provide information to help employees define their next career steps and determine the development steps.
  • Enable employees to review training opportunities and request training enrollment.
  • Enable managers to submit and approve employee profile changes and training requests and review the status of training enrollment approval.
  • Use PeopleSoft's global functionality to ensure that all text, date formatting, and data elements are appropriate for multinational operations.
  • Conduct business in any of 22 languages, or use Unicode support to translate PeopleSoft eDevelopment and other applications into 200 additional languages.

INVESTING IN YOUR FUTURE

Oracle 401(k)
Oracle's 401(k) Savings and Investment Plan offers you a way to plan for retirement and contribute to your long-term financial goals. You may contribute up to 40% of your cash compensation (salary, bonus, and commission) on a pre-tax basis, subject to an annual IRS dollar limit, through payroll deductions. Oracle may match some of your 401(k) contribution, and you decide where to invest your money by selecting from a portfolio of investment options. Because you use pre-tax dollars and your account growth is tax-deferred, your participation should lower your current federal and state income taxes.

Employee Stock Purchase Plan
Oracle's Employee Stock Purchase Plan lets you purchase Oracle common stock at a discounted market price. By enrolling in the plan prior to any offering period, you may contribute up to 10% of your cash compensation (salary, bonus, and commission) through payroll deductions.

COUNSELING

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
To help you address problems that threaten to upset the stability of your life at home or at work, the Oracle Employee Assistance Program offers referral services and confidential, personal assessment. EAP services may help with stress, depression, difficulties with children, divorce, alcohol abuse, drugs, job worries, marital, financial, or legal problems. The EAP is staffed by licensed professionals from the fields of psychology, clinical social work, and counseling. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. An experienced intake specialist will arrange a confidential appointment with an EAP counselor. Services are free for up to three visits per family member per concern annually.

LifeSolutions
The LifeSolutions employee resource program helps employees manage work and personal responsibilities by providing free advice, useful materials and referrals to local or national resources. LifeSolutions can assist employees with balancing work and personal life, locating child care and elder care resources, parenting, adoption, selecting schools, and chronic condition support.

VACATION

Everyone needs a break once in awhile. As a full-time regular employee working at least 35 hours per week, you accrue 13 days of vacation a year (4.33 hours per pay period) for your first three years of employment, and 18 days a year (6 hours per pay period) after three years.
