Oracle offers Java Platform, Micro Edition (Java ME) based embedded products to meet your specific Java technology needs, where a feature-rich Java platform is desirable, despite lacking the resources necessary to run the full Oracle Java SE Embedded environment. Oracle Java ME Embedded is a CLDC-based runtime targeted for use on highly memory-constrained devices (<1MB), whereas Oracle Java ME Embedded Client is a CDC-based runtime targeted for use on devices with slightly higher memory capacity (<10MB). Java ME runtime implementations are highly tuned to perform well in such environments and can be targeted to run on a wide range of hardware, operating systems and configurations.

Oracle Java ME Embedded version 3.2

The Oracle Java ME Embedded 3.2 product is currently implemented as a device emulation implementation for x86/Windows platform and is delivered through the Java ME SDK. To evaluate Oracle Java ME Embedded 3.2, download and install Java ME SDK 3.2



Oracle Java ME Embedded Client version 1.1

This version is a headless version of the Oracle Java Micro Edition Embedded Client 1.1 implementation. It includes CDC 1.1.2, Foundation 1.1.2 and the Security Optional Package 1.0.1
