Edward Screven
Edward Screven is executive vice president and chief corporate architect at Oracle. He leads the teams that drive innovative product strategy, engineering, operations, sales, and technical support for a wide range of Oracle products.
In his role as chief corporate architect, Edward drives technology and architecture decisions across all Oracle products and leads companywide strategic initiatives, including industry standards and security. He is responsible for Oracle Labs, which identifies, explores, and transfers new technologies that have the potential to substantially improve Oracle’s—and customers’—business. He’s responsible for many of Oracle’s best-known open source programs including Java, Oracle Linux, MySQL, and VirtualBox.
Edward is a supporter of JDRF, the juvenile diabetes foundation, and was the Silicon Valley Corporate Chair for their 2020 fundraising walk event. He’s a computer science graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and continues to enjoy programming in his personal time.
Jacely Voon
Jacely Voon is global HR leader with more than 20 years’ experience working with multinational corporations, including 10 years at FUJIFILM. She is currently the regional HR director for Busy Bees Asia, one of the world’s largest early childhood education organisations. At Busy Bees Asia, she leads the strategy, planning, and execution of human capital and change management for the Asia region by delivering a superlative employee experience and culture transformation. An astute professional and business partner leader, she has a reputation for successful business transformation and coaching leadership teams. In 2023, she was named one of Asia’s most influential HR leaders due to her well-known forward-thinking abilities and her passion for making a difference to people and organizations through care and authenticity.
Jerome Joseph
Jerome Joseph joined APL Logistics in August 2021 and led the HR team to win the Asia HR Awards, Best Companies to Work for in Singapore, Hong Kong, and China in 2022. He is a certified IHRP senior professional and MBA graduate with more than 20 years of extensive HR, learning and development, and talent management experience. He has led regional and global HR teams while living and working in Singapore, Australia, India, Indonesia, and Dubai. He has held various roles from managing organizational development and talent management in Asia Pacific to being a strategic HR business partner at country, regional, and global levels. As head of HR for both multinational and privately-owned companies, he was responsible for the entire HR spectrum from talent acquisition, total reward, performance management, employee engagement, talent management, and development. Jerome has led several companies to become employers of choice.
Kang Yew Jin
Kang Yew Jin is currently the CTO of PLUS Malaysia. He has more than 30 years of experience in IT, and his recognitions include PIKOM CIO of the Year 2015 and IDG’s Top 50 ASEAN CIOs in 2019 and 2020, Top 75 ASEAN CIOs in 2021, and Top 100 ASEAN CIOs in 2022. His background and experiences span driving the digital transformation of highway operations, modernising legacy print and media businesses, leading IT for Hong Leong Bank, and running IT infrastructure operations regionally for Great Eastern Life as part of OCBC Group.
Leslie Yee
Leslie Yee is the General Manager of IT at Pacific International Lines (PIL), headquartered in Singapore. Incorporated in 1967, PIL is the largest container line in Southeast Asia, operating more than 100 container ships, focusing on Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Oceania, and Latin America. Alphaliner ranks PIL as the twelfth largest carrier with a capacity of approximately 250,000 TEU. Leslie leads IT applications development, operations, and security for headquarters, more than 65 regional and local agency offices, and for all vessels’ IT and operational technology equipment. Previously, he worked at NOL/APL Group IT delivering key digital transformation remodel projects and systems for pricing and equipment management. At ST Electronics, makers of satellite communication and sensor systems, Leslie delivered terrestrial and vessel automated network management systems. He was educated at University College London with a focus on IT business management solutions and user experience engineering.
Philip Tan
Philip Tan is a Chartered Accountant with more than 27 years of experience from diverse industries including shipping, offshore marine, ship building and repairs, as well as electronics, apparel, and chemical manufacturing. Philip has led companies through various stages of development, including public listing as well as privatisation. He is currently the CFO of IMC Industrial Group, a leading integrated maritime and industrial solutions provider in dry bulk shipping, industrial logistics, chemical transportation, shipyard and marine engineering, offshore assets and services, and consumer logistics. With a focus on driving digital transformation, Philip has implemented several different ERP systems and operational systems during his career. He advocates for using digital insights to drive business and financial strategies.
Phuah Aik Chong
Phuah Aik Chong is the head of digital engineering at PETRONAS. He is responsible for driving operational and delivery excellence for all digital and information and communications technology (ICT) initiatives at PETRONAS, ensuring a successful digital transformation for the organisation.
Phuah joined PETRONAS in July 2019. Since then, he has focused on steering the adoption of modern engineering techniques, such as product management practices, agile, DevSecOps, and cloud adoption. He has also built a solid organisation of in-house engineering talent to fulfill PETRONAS’ digital and ICT needs and demands globally.
Robert Heese
Since 2018, Robert Heese has been the CFO of Singapore-headquartered Beyonics, an Asian manufacturer of injection-molded, aluminum-die cast and print circuit board assemblies and components for the automotive, medical, and technology sectors. With more than 40 years of experience, Robert’s career began with large corporations in Canada. He moved to Asia in 1998 and has held various CFO roles in both South Korea and Singapore. Robert is a certified public accountant in Canada.
Chin Ying Loong
Chin Ying Loong helms the Oracle Technology business across ASEAN. He has a proven track record of building high-performing teams, demonstrating business value to customers, and creating stellar customer relationships. As a people-oriented, strategic planner, Ying Loong excels at leading large teams in maximising value to customers. He believes health is key to long-term success and participates actively in team sports, including weekly soccer sessions.
Chua Horng Shya
Chua Horng Shya leads the Oracle business in Singapore. She is responsible for managing the company’s operations and setting Oracle’s strategy for growth, performance, and profitability while helping customers unlock business value from Oracle solutions. She is passionate about team coaching and collaboration and serves as a mentor for many women in industry. She is part of the Singapore 100 Women in Tech list.
Onkar Kapoor
Onkar Kapoor is the Group CIO of Atlantic Gulf & Pacific (AG&P), where he is responsible for IT strategy planning and execution in the organization. In this role, he is instrumental in creation and implementation of Global IT strategy, Road-map and standards focusing on overall organizational growth, compliance, high ROI and low CTO, best performance and high security.
Adrian Teng
Adrian joined Clifford Capital Holdings in August 2019 and oversees the Finance, Treasury, Strategy, Technology, and Operations departments. He has 25 years of diverse international, financial, and operational experience across developed and emerging markets. He is also currently a statutory audit committee member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
Gabriel Wong
Gabriel Wong is the co-founder of MetaVerse Green Exchange (MVGX) and is a qualified attorney licensed in the USA (New York state), Singapore as well as England and Wales. Prior to starting MVGX, Gabriel was an investment banker at Citigroup Global Markets in New York and UBS in Beijing and Hong Kong. He also has an MBA (Finance) from Columbia Business School.
Anissh Pandey
Anissh Pandey has 18+ years of experience working with pioneers within Asia Pacific in adoption of accelerated computing solutions which is key for AI success. Anissh Pandey is currently Director for Strategic Engagement and Emerging Market for NVIDIA Enterprise Business. He has been instrumental in helping customers meet their strategic imperatives by accelerating adoption of AI solutions - internal development or external, with focus on transformation of business model, improved engagement, and enhanced customer experience. He has worked closely with major business conglomerates, unicorn businesses, telco, finance, fintech, universities (research) and government agencies on SMART Nation projects. Prior to Nvidia Anissh Pandey has worked with Hewlett Packard (HP) and Advance Micro Devices (AMD) supporting and engaging with large enterprise customers. Anissh Pandey is an MBA from Xavier Institute, India and is a gold medalist. As part of leadership development journey Anissh Pandey has certification from Cornell University, US and a distinction holder from INSEAD for Innovation.
Paul Stephen Howe
Paul Stephen Howe joined Makro in 2013, he is currently working as Group CIO at Siam Makro and Lotus’s under CP Group in Thailand. Paul brings over 30 years of experience in the field of information technology and has a diverse background in enterprise computing and corporate settings, with extensive experience in implementing and integrating retail and wholesale solutions. He has gained deep and practical understanding of the software and cloud services in retail business. At Makro, he oversees the Business Information and Technology division which support enterprise applications, enterprise data and research, user support, infrastructure, communications, store operations and information security. He also works at Lotus’s on IT governance structure to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness for IT services as well as sets IT direction and coordinates infrastructure and service delivery across Makro and Lotus’s.
Chris Havrilla
As global leader of Talent Product Strategy for Oracle Cloud HCM, Chris is a seasoned, proven human capital management leader who has received global recognition. Before joining Oracle, she led human capital technology research, strategy, and advisory as a VP and Lead Tech Industry Analyst at Deloitte. Her experience spans both internal IT and HR roles and consulting --- connecting product, technology, business, strategy, and innovation. She loves figuring out how the latest trends and innovations in data, tools, and technology can help impact the world of work, workforce, and workplace making work better for people and people better at work.
Jenny Lam
Jenny Lam is Senior Vice President of User Experience Design at Oracle, where she is responsible for reshaping the corporate brand and product design. Lam is rethinking how Oracle customers interact with technology and consume information in order to create a brand and software experience that is not just desirable, but truly differentiated and special.
Previously, Lam served as design director at Amazon in the Devices group, designing digital and voice experiences on FireTV, Fire Tablets, and Echo products. Prior to that, she was cofounder of Jackson Fish Market, a design and digital transformation agency that she built with longtime colleague Hillel Cooperman. Before Jackson Fish Market, Lam worked at Microsoft from 2001 to 2007 as creative director of the Windows User Experience team.
Lam is actively engaged in sharing her design ideas across the industry. She has served on the national board of directors for the American Institute of Graphic Arts and also mentors national and local organizations to foster the next generation of creative design talent headed for the tech industry. Lam chaired and was a judge for the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum National Design Awards in 2018 and has been a speaker at numerous design events including the Design Conversations series at the Museum of Design Atlanta, Phoenix Design Week, and the AIGA Design Conference, among others.
Lam was named by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Technology and a 40 Under 40 Honoree of Seattle business leaders. She attended Valencia College, the University of Florida, and the Portfolio Center.
Jeppe Larsen
Jeppe Larsen has been at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure since 2017. He has held multiple leadership roles across OCI Block Storage and Compute and is currently the Vice President of OCI Security, Privacy, and Identity Products.
Srishti Sofat
Srishti Sofat is Senior Vice President, CX Marketing at Oracle. She brings over 24 years of experience in building and scaling large scale consumer and enterprise software products. She has been solving interesting problems in Marketing Orchestration, Personalization, Mobile, Mar-Tech and customer intelligence to help a global set of customers. Srishti drives a strong culture of product innovation and execution within the Oracle product development group.
