Terms and Conditions for Oracle AI World Tour Amsterdam

Oracle’s definition of public sector is broader than you might expect. While our public sector definition includes traditional government agencies and ministries, it also includes state-owned entities where a government has 30% or more ownership, voting control, and/or the ability to appoint officers or directors. As a result, some airlines, financial institutions, telecommunications companies, utilities, energy exploration companies, hospitals, and other businesses may also be considered part of the public sector under Oracle’s guidelines.

Public sector attendees registering under the government rate may be required to show their employer-issued ID or other proof of government employment as well as a standard, government-issued photo ID (such as a drivers license or passport) during check-in at the Oracle AI World registration desk at The Venetian Conference and Expo Center.

Oracle may, at its sole discretion, charge the full Oracle AI World conference rate to anyone not satisfying these requirements or cancel ineligible registrations. Government discounts, with or without The Party, are only available to those who qualify. Public sector employees are not eligible to use a complimentary pass, group pass, or pass provided by another party to register for Oracle AI World. If Oracle rescinds your registration and refunds your payment, Oracle is not liable for any incidental damages, such as flight, hotel, or other related expenses.

We understand that schedules change, and would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance should you need to cancel your attendance. Please send an mail to the Oracle AI World Tour registration team via email at OracleAIWorld-Amsterdam@regsvcoracle.com.

Oracle reserves the right to deny or revoke registration or event admission at its discretion. If Oracle rescinds your registration, under no circumstances will Oracle be liable for any incidental damages, such as flight, hotel, or other related expenses.

If you need to travel to attend the event, all travel arrangements, reservations, and expenses are your or your employer’s responsibility. Oracle employees, contractors, and partners are not authorized to facilitate or pay for any travel expenses for attendees unless specifically pre-approved in writing through Oracle’s Non-Employee Travel process.

Travel documents and/or immigration inquiries: Completion of registration and payment will generate a registration confirmation receipt email. Oracle does not issue customized documentation to registrants in support of travel to, or attendance at, Oracle events, nor are any individual Oracle employees, contractors, or partners authorized to do so. Registrants are responsible for knowing, understanding, and complying with all applicable Dutch immigration laws and should consult with their own employer for any required letters to support applications for visas and travel requirements.

Travel restrictions and/or requirements: Travelers are responsible to research, understand, and comply with any entry restrictions and/or health and quarantine requirements based upon their country of departure. It is the traveler’s responsibility to be aware of any entry or policy changes prior to traveling to the Netherlands.

Information pertaining to attendees: Those attending Oracle events, including Oracle employees, must ensure that they have the appropriate immigration documentation in the destination location. Furthermore, Oracle’s global policy regarding non-Oracle employees (such as partners and customers) is that it is the responsibility of their individual employer to sponsor the proper immigration documentation to ensure compliance. Oracle will not support, provide sponsorship, nor act as a guarantor for visa applications on their behalf.

By registering, attendees grant Oracle Corporation, its affiliates (“Oracle”), and its agents the right to take photographs or videos of them during Oracle AI World Tour activities.

Attendees grant Oracle and its agents, assignees, and transferees the worldwide right to use, copy, distribute, exhibit, broadcast, transmit, perform, publish, and display the photos/videos of attendees, with or without names and biographic material, in any media including in print and electronic. Oracle may use the photos/videos for any lawful purpose including, but not limited to, publicity, marketing, and advertising.

Attendees understand that Oracle may process personal information collected in connection with likeness, voice, or portrait or include it in materials as listed in accordance with the Oracle General Privacy Policy. Oracle is under no obligation to compensate attendees. Attendees agree that Oracle is the exclusive copyright owner of the photographs/videos. Attendees further understand that content posted to social networks will be subject to the social network’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

The use of any device to capture images and sound, live stream, upload, or rebroadcast speakers or presentations is strictly prohibited at all official Oracle event meetings, sessions, and events without express written consent from the Oracle AI World Tour team.

The presentations and associated materials offered during the conference may include statements about Oracle’s product development plans. Many factors can materially affect Oracle’s product development plans and the nature and timing of future product releases. Accordingly, this information is provided to attendees solely for information and is not a commitment to deliver any material, code, or functionality and should not be relied upon in making purchasing decisions. The development, release, and timing of any features described remains at the sole discretion of Oracle.

The discussions, presentations, and associated materials offered during the conference may include predictions, plans, estimates, or other information that might be considered forward-looking. By attending or participating in an Oracle event, the registrant agrees to adhere to this code of conduct.

Oracle policy prohibits harassment in any form and Oracle expects event attendees to practice and promote an event environment free from harassment and discrimination.

Oracle reserves the right to limit attendance at its events, at its sole discretion. If an attendee does not comply with this code of conduct, Oracle reserves the right to remove them from the event (including without a refund), prohibit attendance at future Oracle events, and/or pursue other means necessary to appropriately address failure to comply with the code.

Please immediately raise any issues or concerns that surface regarding Oracle’s event attendee code of conduct to the on-site Oracle staff at the registration desk or contact the Oracle Global Physical Security Team at eventssecurity_gps_ww_grp@oracle.com.

To ensure all attendees have a safe and enjoyable event, bags, backpacks, purses, overcoats and other items, which may conceal prohibited items, may be subject to search by security personnel. Weapons and illegal non-prescription drugs of any kind are strictly prohibited on premises.

Items intentionally used to cause a distraction or disturbance to our speakers or attendees such as laser pointers, airhorns, megaphone/bullhorns, banners/signage, or items with similar intent are prohibited. Prohibited items discovered during security inspections must either be returned to the owner’s vehicle, hotel room, or discarded. Items will not be held for later pick-up.
