SPARC M5-32 servers also provide:
- Strong market opportunity. The market opportunity for SPARC M5-32 servers is one of the largest in the enterprise market. With SPARC M5-32 servers’ improved price/performance vs. M9000, Oracle partners will have a better chance to compete for large SMP footprints. Additionally, current large system customers will benefit from large consolidation ratios from 4:1 up to 12:1 depending on the age and era of their systems. Finally, when Oracle finally releases Oracle Database 12c, SPARC M5-32 servers should be considered as one of the primary platforms on which to deploy.
- Partner services revenue. In addition to the services derived from customer projects, the Oracle PartnerNetwork provides Specialized partners with exclusive access to the installation and implementation tools and resources used by Oracle’s services teams.
- Market differentiation through innovation. Building on more than 25 years of SPARC heritage, the SPARC M5-32 server combines the best of business-critical data center server technology with the best of the high throughput Oracle T-Series servers to deliver the most powerful and scalable enterprise class server in the Oracle product family. This unique combination of technologies includes the binary compatible SPARC S3 processor core, high RAS features and the advanced virtualization technologies of dynamic domains, Oracle VM for SPARC, and Solaris Zones. The SPARC M5-32 server is managed using the common ILOM system management used in the SPARC T-Series server family and in Oracle Engineered Systems.

Partner Installation of Oracle Hardware
Oracle provides Specialized partners with the methodologies, resources, and tools to deliver their own hardware installation services. Based on Oracle's Enterprise Installation Services (EIS) methodology, installations performed by Specialized partners are recognized by Oracle for the purposes of support and product warranty.
Specialization is mandatory for a partner to be recognized as qualified to install the products defined by that specific Specialization.
Partners that perform installations are required to accept the Oracle Installation Service Addendum. Partners are also required to report installations to Oracle.
