What will we cover

The Business Intelligence Applications for ERP 7.9.6 Implementation Boot Camp provide a business and technical overview of the BI Applications platform as well as an understanding of the various offerings in this space. Participants will be familiarized with the procedures needed to properly install and configure the BI applications and gain substantial hands-on experience using BI Applications in a controlled lab environment. Lab exercises for these boot camps will focus on integration with Oracle E-Business Suite.

The Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) Applications Implementation Boot Camp is a four-days class tailored to educate and make participants aware of the Oracle BI Applications products and the skills required for its implementation. The boot camps will be a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises, where the participants will gain valuable skills in Oracle BI Applications implementation best practices.

This boot camp will cover:

• Oracle BI Applications components
• How to configure Oracle BI Applications for Oracle E-Business Suite
• How to customize Oracle BI Applications to suit the customizations in Oracle E-Business Suite
• How to integrate Oracle BI Applications with Oracle E-Business Suite
• How to configure Oracle BI Applications to inherit security from Oracle E-Business Suite.

At the conclusion of the course, attendees should be able to understand and successfully implement Oracle's Business Intelligence Applications, as well as understand how to integrate these options with their own solutions.

Who should attend

These boot camps are intended for prospective users and implementers of Oracle BI Applications or implementers that are currently familiar with the basics or certain components of BI Applications and looking to strengthen their base of knowledge in the product. Such partners may include those that have a base of experience and knowledge in:

• Oracle’s BI Foundation offering, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Plus (OBIEE+)

• Oracle’s applications that serve as the data source for BI Applications, such as Oracle E-Business Suite, Siebel CRM and others.

Prerequisites

To ensure a valuable learning experience, participation in this boot camp requires that participants have foundational product knowledge of Oracle BI Applications. Accordingly, we strongly suggest and may require that participants complete the prerequisite courses that are mapped into the Oracle Business Intelligence Applications 7.9.6 Implementation Specialist guided learning path.
