    High Impact Oracle Database Appliance Demo

    This session will demonstrate how you can highlight the resiliency of the Oracle Database Appliance to prospective customers. Using a live system, we will show how to prove that the appliance can maintain application and database availability while handling various hardware failures. While the database is processing SwingBench transactions on the screen, we will:

    • - Unplug the Database Appliance – pull-out a power cord
    • - Cause a network failure – pull out network cords
    • - Demonstrate a server failure – removing an entire server tray
    • - Create a multiple disk failure – pull out multiple disks
