Download the compressed jar file

Directions

• Download Oracle Software Packager in .jar format

• Unjar ouiosp220160.jar into a directory

  For example:
  jar -xvf ouiosp220160.jar

  On NT:

  • change to the "cd/Disk1/install/Win32" directory (note Disk1 dir did not exist with older version of OUI)
  • run setup.exe

  On Solaris:

  • change to the "cd/Disk1/install/Solaris" " directory (note Disk1 dir did not exist with older version of OUI)
  • execute "runInstaller"
• Select install type "Complete" to install both the Universal Installer and the Software Packager.
• Download the Oracle Software Packager User's Guide .
• Note: Phone support for Oracle Software Packager is only available to Oracle Partner Program members with pre-arranged phone support. ISVs in the First-To-Market program, a sub-program of OPP, have pre-arranged phone support.
